Clean, felt very safe and staff was super friendly and helpful

We truly loved our visit and hopefully will be back again.

Overall, the resort was nice, and the bed was very comfortable. However, I was disappointed with the advertised “hot tub.” What the resort considers a hot tub is actually a jacuzzi-style bathtub, which I feel is misleading. The tub was also very difficult to step in and out of when using it for a shower. Additionally, there was no separate faucet to fill the tub—the only way to fill it appeared to be using the showerhead, which would have taken an extremely long time. While we enjoyed some aspects of the resort, the “hot tub” was definitely not what we expected based on the description and was a disappointment.

I loved the fact of how great the staff was and that it was centrally located for our visit. At first my husband thought it was over kill as far as what we needed for 2 nights. However, when we got there, he was in love with it. That we were not there long enough to enjoy the hot tub and pool. However, they were a little further away than what I would have liked.

The property was nice overall and in a good location. The outside/common areas were well maintained and beautiful. The check-in staff were very nice and accommodating. The room felt a bit outdated and not very well maintained. We wanted to open windows since the weather was cool, but found we couldn’t open one and the other did not have a screen.

This was great place to stay. My only complaint is we were on the bottom floor and it sounded like a herd of elephants was staying above us. They were either stomping or running at all hours of the day and night. Very frustrating. Property was clean aside from the tile feeling very sticky from whatever they cleaned it with.

Perfectly located to adventure thru the area waterfalls and wineries.

The location was great. Staff was friendly, responsive and helpful. The campus was attractive, easy to access, well maintained and added enjoyment to our visit. Booking.com mentioned a free breakfast; however, free breakfast was not included by the hotel.

We spent the weekend hanging out on the gazebos with friends! What a great way to relax for the beautiful weather this weekend

We enjoyed time in the pool. The boys were fishing every day The thermostat wasn't working first day. Coffee pot seems outdated, would prefer k-cups.

This was an amazing place to stay! I didn’t realize I had a 1-bedroom unit and that was awesome. They have 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom units with a fireplace! Full kitchen, clean, quiet, and location was perfect in Banner Elk. My new go-to mountain retreat-away-from home!

Location to Grandfather Mountain was great. A/C was great. Kitchen does not have some basic utensils and is not fully supplied (as advertised) - fortunately there is a Food Lion nearby where we bought what should have been supplied. Sofa and chairs did not feel clean and we put a sheet over the sofa. Beds and bed linens were good and clean. But, great place to have a family get-together to attend the nearby Highland Games at Grandfather Mountain.

Beyond my expectations!

Needs a bit more light, possibly a floor lamp to brighten the area by the entrance door. Pool bathrooms - the trash was collected but the other things were not addressed. I had to ask someone to get tissue for the stalls.

Is niiice. Not luxurious... but very comfy and peacefull The pond was nicely stocked w fish. The gas BBQ works well . I wish the offered actual room cleaning service even if w added fee making it easy to book. We noticed they removed the excellent coffee machine they had at the welcome ctr. Pitty it was great coffee...

Outside remodel looks amazing. Pool and hot tub were great. Interior of the rooms were old and not updated. The worst part is you can hear everything through the walls and ceilings. The people upstairs kept us awake until midnight.
