Walkable to downtown. Near a big grocery store. Great!

Very good

Location was ideal for us. Clean, well appointed private unit. Very expensive for what it is.

Friendly staff and great location...

I found the hotel overpriced for what they offer. The room was clean. They have NO ONE on staff after 10 at night until 8 they next morning. They also don't clean your room unless you ask and they said, on a laminated contact sheet left in the room, that they would clean your room on request "free of charge" but you need to tell them. I only met one person on staff and she was very nice.

The location was close to all the downtown spots we wanted to go. The hose sprayed me when I went to wash my bike. I loved that the option existed but also would have preferred that it didn’t spray me.

Great location outside of the downtown close to some restaurants. The conditioner was out in my shower and there were no coffee cups in my room. The noise from adjoining rooms was noticeable and I made use of the provided ear plugs. Rooms were very spacious but a bit dim.

Basic but good motel. Friendly check in, clean rooms, good location. We were happy with our 1 night here. It met our requirements

Good location, comfy bed, wonderful staff. It was a little loud for street noise. But once I fell asleep I never woke up

We had an amazing two night stay while away for a weekend wedding. It was super quiet and the staff were amazingly friendly. We highly recommend!

It was very cute and comfortable and the staff was helpful and friendly

Very clean and staff super friendly. Highly recommend.

The room was amazing and clean. Great AC unit. Loved the fenced dog area and yard. I LOVED the big deep fire pit however disagree with needing to be babysat when it came to starting and maintaining a fire as was told by a staff member. They were kind about letting me know after they realized I had started a fire. The pit is super deep and safe. There was nothing on the info sheet about these rules. Otherwise great place and will stay again for sure. My pup loved it!

The front desk staff had no idea about customer service.

The bed was sooooooo comfortable & it was surprisingly quiet. I also liked that it was a code entry instead of a key because I hate keeping track of keys.

Cute hotel walkable to downtown, nice outdoor space. The room was clean and comfortable, super easy parking!

Welcoming staff, very clean, rooms in the back were more quiet because farther away from the street. Simple and spacious rooms ( we stayed in #9.) Nice to have microwave, refrigerator and tea kettle, but mattress was too firm and the fire pit was never available , this was an amenity that we were looking forward to on the cold evenings. Front staff were moody at times, so customer service was inconsistent.

It was in a very good location, quiet and the parking was free and right on site. I expected housekeeping service at least once during my stay to replace the coffee and dirty cups since this is a hotel but I didnt see any maids or cleaners at all in 3 days I was there.

Stayed at Heliotrope Hotel for Tour de Whatcom and was disappointed. Staff didn’t know about the event’s discount or perks, and the room had mold on the bathroom ceiling with a noticeable smell when the windows were closed. My door also wouldn’t open properly due to a latch issue. The clerk was kind and tried to fix it, but overall the stay didn’t match the price. Wouldn’t recommend unless quality improves or rates drop.
