Very good
-
Our stay was perfect and the property was ideal - clean, comfy and convenient to everything we wanted to do in Boston all weekend. I especially appreciated how friendly and helpful the staff was — the valet/porter hustled, a woman at the front desk helped me figure out a tricky billing issue and housekeeping was very thorough

New and cozy hotel, very comfy room, the location is quite good - not so close to the city centre, but very close to a metro station and a park where you can see the most amazing sunsets. Not far away from Cambridge either and very close to a cute street with local shops. We received house slippers, bottled water everyday and a complientary voucher for some meals/wine at the hotel restaurant (haven’t used them, but it was a nice touch). The room looks as in the pictures and the reception looks great too. The staff was very nice and helpful, and we were allowed earlier check in at no cost because the room was ready. The cleaning could be done more thoroughly. There was nothing major to complain about, but we did find some hairs in the shower and some crumbs/lint pieces in the hallway.

Exceptional

The staff was excellent I appreciated help with coffee/tea late at night, friendly front desk and doormen.

Clean room, well kept property, distinctive boutique design. Some nice quiet luxury touches like turndown, floor pantries, social hour with wine and snacks. In our room we got a decent amount of train noise from the nearby T. Comes with the charm (and the quirks) of a smaller property eg some service inconsistency. Delivers a smaller quiet luxury vibe if that’s what you are after.

very clean, all staff including housekeeping were beyond helpful and accommodating. they also allowed me to check out an hour later without additional charge and keep my bags until i was leaving later after check in. highly recommend!

Superb

Lovely big room, very comfortable beds. Friendly staff in restaurant. It’s a very noisy area. The hotel is on a busy intersection opposite a raised subway train. It’s very noisy all the time. You can’t hear neighbouring rooms in hotel but you can hear outside noise 24/7. Trains, sirens, music etc. Not good for a quiet nights sleep. Rooms are over $1000 a night, Boston is expensive but due to noise etc. We didn’t feel it was worth it.

Great location right by the underground As it was right by underground and busy street there was some noise at night

With Charles st running down one side it shows old Boston. It is wonderful to walk to Boston common on to the freedom trail. The rooms are quite spacious. Very comfortable bed The front of hotel faces very busy traffic with 24 hrs ambulances.

Fantastic location right in Beacon Hill. The room was beautifully clean and absolutely gorgeous. The room service was lovely and special shout out to the amazing staff member who helped me remove a fly from my room! Overall, it was a lovely place. More veg options would be great for room service.

Stayed in deluxe room with x2 queen beds. Great size room, plenty of space. Staff were super friendly on reception and in the bar. There was a happy hour 5-6pm for a free drink which was a nice touch. They kindly left a bottle of wine in the room for my birthday too. Would stay again. Location is great for all the sights. Nice area to stay in.

The location of the hotel was ideal within easy walking distance of the city centre and points of interest and with the nearest Subway station across the road. Staff were excellent; helpful and friendly. We had breakfast one morning at it was tasty, with a good choice and value for money. The room was excellent with and the bed was very comfortable with crisp fresh linen. There is nothing but positive comments to be made about The Whitney.

From the moment we arrived we were impressed with the decor and welcome we received. All the staff were friendly and went above and beyond. . My only critique was the lack of choice regarding meals. Brunch, lunch, dinner and room service were identical menus. I would have preferred more variety.

Great stay! The staff was super helpful and let us check in early. Loved the hotel bar and restaurant with its great Happy Hour. Highly recommend!

Incredible ambience, wonderful staff, fantastic location. We’ll be coming back for sure.

Great hotel in an excellent spot very nice facilities comfortable bed just everything you need for a city break in the heart of Beacon Hill

The location was wonderful. Very large room and clean! Nice amenities. The valet staff was non-existent. We had to wait and search for help. Our car was forgotten outside the hotel for hours. They had forgotten to document the room number associated with our car, so it literally sat outside in the valet area for hours. We actually saw them,by chance, looking through our car, trying to figure out who it belonged to. Since we luckily were passing by at the time we could tell them it was ours and what room we were in. Bad service.

Our stay was the definition of unreasonable hospitality. Excellent price in comparison to others in Boston. From the bellman to the waiters, the were very accommodating especially with our 13 month old son. We will be staying here when we are back. It was very refreshing as it was our first time in Boston as a family and all this took place over some wonderful they had at there restaurant. I recognize and see there strong culture and it’s appreciated!
