The room we received exceeded my expectations. I'm still in shock. It had a fireplace with a seating area, an outdoor veranda and a whirlpool tub. It was spacious and we had no problem fitting our luggage in. They include wine glasses in the room in case you bring back a bottle from a local winery but they also have bottles of wine you can purchase. The room was very clean and comfortable. The atmosphere was very nice. We walked a few minutes to dinner at Lovina in downtown Calistoga around the corner. It was a lovely experience and I'd stay here again if I ever go back up to Napa. The only drawback was the traffic noise from the street starting at around 5am, but there's not much that can be done about that as it was a weekday and people have to go to work.

Nice hotel in a great location. Would stay there again.

If you're looking for a place to stay in the North Beach area of San Francisco, this hotel is it. Located in the middle of North Beach this hotel embraces the charm of the 60s. Every room's decor reflects the period of the 60s. As with many older buildings there are stairs one must navigate with luggage. There isn't parking for cars which can be a bit challenging in this very popular neighborhood.

the location is fantastic with a short walk downtown. We ended up taking advantage of the free wine tasting next door and it was so lovely. Loved the vibe at Tank and they were just so nice there. the room was small and the bathroom is weird with a glass panel in the shower and no real door? It is an older property but has been updated and decently maintained. It is nice to have a continental breakfast delivered to your room but the offerings aren't great and I think it is terrible that they charge extra for coffee or tea. You basically get a couple of hard boiled eggs and a muffin which is not as good as a low cost hotel. And you have to choose a time the night before. The second day, we just walked to the coffee shop that opened at 6:30. Definitely not a hotel for early risers.

Convenient to walk throughout downtown Calistoga and several restaurants. Breakfasts served promptly to room, nice varied menu for continental breakfast. Front desk staff very nice. Thin walls, small rooms and close to main roadway for traffic noise

Lovely room close to everything in town. Friendly staff, light breakfast options brought to your room. Fab coffee in room as well as free coffee in reception. Room service every day with fresh towels and coffee etc topped up. Enjoyed our stay. I kept hearing a tv late into evening for 2 nights luckily had ear plugs but was disappointed as first night was quiet ! Think free bottled water in room should be provided at price point
