Satellite Hotel

Staff was rude kicked us out for smoking on the balcony.

This is a terribly outdated "hotel". We arrived in early October to a room that was 90 degrees and had ripped carpet/curtains. We assumed the AC was out of order and spoke to the front desk clerk. He explained the AC to ALL THE ROOMS had been turned off in anticipation of the coming winter weather. The outdoor weather was 80 - 85 degrees every day we were there. He gave us a fan and told us to open the sliding glass door. We opened the sliding glass door AND the front door to the hallway to ventilate the room. The temperature never went below 86. We spoke to Hotels.com and asked to transfer our reservations. We were told there was nothing Hotels.com could do. We got out of there as soon as possible. This place should not be listed at all. And, will not be using Hotels.com again.

It was a great 4 night stay as I have friends living at the Satellite.

Room was very spacious and extremely cheap so good value. Bed was comfy, water pressure was good. I would definitely recommend going to the restaurant downstairs at Jay’s Soul Food, it was delicious & the owners were very welcoming! The rooms were updated, but still had some older features but a very comfortable stay overall

In hotels defense the AC being off was explained to me with more detail that made sense different from what I was originally told. Management agreed it should've been better communicated to me at check in and a full refund was issued.

The gentleman who checkes ia in was amazing, was super nice and made small talk..

Check in was easy. The tv wasn't working but got it resolved within minutes. Staff are friendly. Room was clean. When we come to Colorado Springs we always stay here. We will be back.

The excellent value of this room is probably because it is a little further out of town than most of the other hotels

The was clean they came every day to change the towels the towel rack wasn’t attached correctly every time you pulled a towel off the rack was on the floor. We couldn’t figure out how to make the tv work

Reasonable rate & clean room

This was the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. When we arrived it was pleasant looking at first. The man that checked us in was simi pleasant at first. The room was hot after signing all the paper work and getting the key is when he told us oh by the way the ac was off for the season 😳 felt like this should have been disclosed before signing anything. The pool was also not usable after having a convo with my person he made a whipping sound as a joke that we didn’t find funny or amusing. The balcony was very dirty like it hadn’t been cleaned in awhile. Only positive was the room was actually clean. Customer service was horrible!!

Mixed use facility with hotel rooms, condos and shops. Friendly staff. Very clean! Added bonus of balcony’s with seating to enjoy fresh air.

The hotel is an odd mix of hotel rooms and condos that people live in. I was being cat-called by a (seeming) resident as I walked to my car. Overall, the place was dated but clean aside from some odd smells as you walk through the hallways. The balcony was wonderful though! Didn’t seem to be in the best part of town so that combined with the cat-calling made me nervous about staying there.

Everything was perfect!!!
