Residence Inn by Marriott Amelia Island

Best part of my visit back to Florida was the stay at the hotel

breakfast was good, they have variety of dishes and was clean and enough to eat it used to be free parking, now you have to pay for each night and also parking at historic dowtown was free now you have to pay any day and anytime

The location!!! Breakfast should be longer or at least until 10 am.

Room and staff were great. Breakfast was aboring, only lipton tea, no other selection that was disappointing.

Overall enjoyable stay. The house keeping staff seemed overwhelmed. We had to wait over an hour for clean towels when requested. Breakfast could have been better with fresh options

Great staff, location and facilities.

Breakfast featured a wide array of items. Bed was a bit saggy on the side closest to the bathroom area. Room at night was completely dark, making it difficult to find my way to the bathroom. Bring your own nightlights for critical areas.

The hotel is not being maintained to an acceptable level. The room and the building and grounds look neglected I have found Marriott properties to be very inconsistent overall with quality of the guest experience. I won’t book another Residence Inn unless I have stayed previously and know it is good.

Arianna was great at the front desk. Hotel was clean and quiet. The breakfast is lacking.

Clean and friendly. They have a new $10 per day parking fee. It was not disclosed by booking.com.

The staff, the grounds, the free breakfast, our room. Everything was amazing.

Loved staying here, only issue was ac wasnt working properly but the hotel was able to accommodate a portable ac unit to the room and worked great!

I loved the pool and hot tub. Breakfast was nice every morning. Nice outdoor seating area with four gas grills to use. Will stay here again.

Have stayed here many times. This time was not great! Took a long time to get checked in, the bathroom wasn't the cleanest and the room was hot. I turned the temperature down as far as it would go but it was still too hot to sleep. Way too overpriced for that to happen!

Hands down, the staff here are the best. We arrived after 9 PM for check in on a Thursday night and the lady at the front desk was awesome! Extremely friendly, warm, and helpful. She went extremely out of her way to communicate helpful information about parking, activities around the resort and in town, and let us know about their shuttle which would take us anywhere around the island and then pick us up later to bring us back to the resort for free. She loaded us up with brochures about the island. I have not met anyone working for a hotel as pleasant or as nice in 45 years of active travelling as an adult . The 2 bedroom suite was awesome - each bedroom had its own bathroom. The kitchen was great as well - full size fridge and the amenities you would need to enjoy a stay there without going out to eat. Lovely place.
