The room was very nice, clean & comfortable. The folks at the front desk mentioned the location used to be referred to as skid row, Many homeless people congregated near the hotel.

We stay here whenever we goto concerts at the Newberry. Great location always clean. Staff is always friendly and awesome.
-
The property was very well maintained and updated. Staff was excellent. Breakfast delivered to our room was a nice touch. Room was clean and comfortable. The only problem we had was the hot water in the shower and sink never got hot, only luke warm. We notified the staff and they said they would check into it. We didn’t stay long enough to see if corrected and didn’t affect our stay to diminish the five stars given. Great place and highly recommended.
