The Almanett Hotel

The property was really beautiful The staff was very friendly and attentive to my needs. The chief did an amazing job with the food. The lamb chops were my favorite dish. The bread pudding was melting in my mouth. The happy hour drinks were top tier not watered down. I truly enjoyed the music as well. This was truly a remarkable experience staying there for the weekend. I see this place in my future. Or should I I say a regular visit monthly.

The room was superb, the staff was phenomenal the beach view was great. I would advise anyone DON’T book on a Monday through Tuesday cause you’re pretty much on your own. This was a birthday trip for me and I had my mind set on the lamb chops and the karaoke. I’ll advise anyone if you’re interested try to get the room SANDY

It is a pretty hotel and staff are friendly. I had difficulty checking out on Sunday morning when staff are not there and the first floor is locked.

Everything was incredible about this stay, from the decorations, to the restaurant and bar, and the delightful staff!! I will absolutely be looking for a reason to stay here again!!

We were in visiting from the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay, just a little one-night getaway for us. Conveniently located right near the aquarium, which we had visited before checking-in. The Almanette is absolutely Wonderful!!! Delicious food, fantastic service all around, clean room. Everything was great! So happy to have found this place. Our bathroom provided all the necessities, including facial wipes, which I appreciated, since I forgot mine. The ONLY thing I felt it was missing was a mini-fridge in our room, that would have been really useful for us to keep leftover meals and a few cold drinks in. There is a microwave in the common area, which was great, I got a plate from downstairs and used it to heat up my bread pudding. 🤗 We stayed in the Loretta. 3rd floor, away from most of the noise. Everything you really need; clean & comfortable. Small balcony was nice to step out onto. Appreciate the wood floors (cleaner than hotel/model carpet). Nice bathroom.

The staff waa amazing, the rooms were great. I would recommend the hotel to visitors.

Comfortable room, nice location. Bistro live music is loud, but stopped at 11 and wasn't too bad on the 3rd floor. Pay attention to the exit instructions for when the bistro is closed so you can get out in the morning.

According to my client, this is the best place to stay! Steve and his with Ruth, had the best time ever and said the owner is a fantastic person! Had the best time ever!

The hotel was completely empty when we came. We had to call for somebody to come and let us in. The hotel is not handicap friendly you have to walk up a flight of stairs to get to the first floor Lobby. Again there is no room service unless you call and have someone come take care of something that needs to be done. The restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesdays the two days we were there. We ended up being the only people staying , big old house totally empty except for us. Our room was nice our bed was good the view was okay out the balcony. The balcony is a walkout balcony only you could not sit out there. The young lady that helped us was very friendly and did what she could to make our stay as good as possible. If you want to stay at this location please call the hotel directly and ask your questions so that you know up front what you are purchasing. I'm afraid we would not recommend this hotel and will not stay there again.

The staff was so friendly and accommodating. This property is so cozy, the perfect spot for a beach vacation.
