The Markham Hotel

My Stay was wonderful. Everything was Top Notch. My room was Great! Bed was very soft. I will definitely stay here again. Thanks for the Friendly Service.

If you like a firm mattress this is the place for you. The beds were rock hard and so uncomfortable ! It was nice that we got two free drink vouchers but the upstairs bar is closed on Sundays so we never got to use them

We definitely stay here again! Very friendly staff, beautiful room. We enjoyed the rooftop bar every evening and the Velvet Bean Coffee and Bakery every morning.

The hotel was amazing, from the staff to the room. We enjoyed our stay and we will be staying again. The hotel gave such a luxury feel without the price tag that usually goes with the big luxury hotels!

Location was fantastic and the staff were so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

First time at this hotel was told they just recently opened back up in April of this year and everything was nice. First time cruising the coast ,we loved everything so we booked for next year

It was an awesome hotel! It felt like a hotel used to feel like. If that makes any sense to anybody. My wife and I enjoyed our stay.

The Markham was a beautiful space to stay for our trip. The place is very spacious and clean. I highly recommend The Markham and we do plan to stay here again in the future. Great location and very friendly staff!!

Nicely renovated and modern twist! A nice couples getaway.

Very disappointed with how a serious issue was handled during our stay at the Markham Hotel in Biloxi. During heavy rain, water began leaking through the ceiling of Room 814. The ceiling and molding were coming loose, water was dripping into the room, the carpet was wet, and when we returned to the room, our bed was completely soaked. We were moved from Room 814 to Room 614 and offered a $50 food/bar credit. However, we had to pack and move all of our belongings ourselves, which took over an hour. No staff member offered to help. We were simply given another room key and left to handle the move. What bothered me most was learning at checkout that management had not even been informed about what happened. We were under the impression that this serious issue had been escalated and that management would follow up and make things right. I understand that storms and building problems happen, but the response matters. A soaked bed, wet carpet, leaking ceiling, and falling plaster are not minor issues. We expected management involvement, help relocating, and reasonable compensation for the major disruption to our stay. Love the ambiance of hotel but really was disappointed in staff having us taking time out of our day to address a maintenance issue A $50 credit did not adequately address what we experienced. The lack of communication and follow-up from the staff was extremely disappointing.
