Excellent place to stay

The property was very nice. Loved it apart from a few things. The style and decor was fabulous! The bungalow we stayed in smelt a little musty on entry. Also the outside area of the hotel main building smelt of drains occasionally. The service was a little off.

Beautiful, great taste, very boutique and elegant. It would have been great to have hotel staff at the pool for food and drink service and towels.

Great location, cool building. Stayed in bungalow, but AC was ridiculously loud and when I gave the front desk an opportunity to rectify the issue they sent a guy to change the filter…that’s fine, we can breath cleaner air, but did nothing for the rattle. Staff is extremely friendly and the restaurant/bar are especially good. I’d come back but to try the main house

Perfect stay in Houston. Room was large, modern, and perfectly appointed. Great location, close to both uptown/galleria and downtown. On site restaurant and bar were fantastic.

The rooms were comfortable and quit. I did not like the reception area. Too small and not much areas for seating.

Staying here for the 2nd time and love it. So many restaurants and things to do around. Staff are friendly and helpful. The pool is amazing. Best hotel in Houston.

I was informed that there was no twin beds, since there were two of us we decided to change the hotel upon confirmation by management that charges were going to be cancelled but I was charged!tried to contact the hotel But no reply!

Did not stay at the hotel as the conditions were miserable for a 5 star hotel. Absolutely everything. We arrived late at night after a long international trip from Brazil, already exhausted, only to find out our booked room was unavailable due to maintenance. They moved us to bungalows in an adjacent building practically on the street — dark, depressing, and nothing remotely close to what a 5-star hotel should offer. We walked into one of the rooms and found a jacket and personal belongings from a previous guest still inside the room. The bathroom was disgusting — dirty, poorly maintained, and shocking for any hotel, let alone one charging 5-star prices. When we tried to get help, the only staff member on duty was completely clueless and useless. He could not answer a single question or solve a single problem. We refused to spend the night in those conditions and left. We have photos and videos documenting everything. It has been over a month and we are still fighting for a full refund.

Exceptionally competent and professional staff. Everything a this hotel is what you would hope for, given the cost. I would stay there again, without hesitation.

The staff was amazing? The art was beautiful and the food and drinks were exceptional! The pillows were huge and hard to sleep on and the room was really hot

restaurants/bar. friendly welcome on arrival and great valet/door staff. houskeeping should/could've been better for a relais chateau quality hotel. room smelt bad and towels/beds renewed at random with basic toiletries. pool was great but littered.
