Location Tuesday when I checked into the room I noticed the temp was 74. After a few minutes (while I was unpacking) the temp rose to 76. I contacted the front desk and was told to wait 15 minutes and it would adjust. I said I've been here 10 minutes, it was 74 and now it is 76. I felt like he "blew me off" because he didn't want to deal with it. Wednesday I spoke to the young lady at the front counter about it, she asked if I wanted to change rooms - I told her I preferred not to - I was on my way to work (my husband came up with me this trip and was in the room) but if I needed to change rooms, I would after I got off work. She sent Maintenance to our room, he had to install a new A/C unit - actually he had to install 2, the first one stopped working almost instantly. Then Wednesday night I asked about a late check out. I was told it would be $50 and my husband could stay in the room until 2:00. He went down to the lobby area to wait for me to pick him up. I arrived at the hotel around 1:45, went back to the room to make sure my husband got everything - he remembered that he had a sandwich and gatorade in the fridge and asked me to get it for him. My key would not work, housekeeping was in the hall, the gal let me in - even though I told her I was supposed to have the room until 2, she just shrugged that off. When I went into the room, it had not been cleaned yet but when I opened the fridge, the sandwich and gatorade were gone. All I planned on doing was making sure my husband had all chargers, clothing and toiletries out of the room - the food/drink definitely should have still been there. I went to the front desk to check out - it was still before 2:00 and told the clerk all of the issues I had and the fact that I paid for the extra time in the room and that at that point I should have been able to go in there.

Location Smell…. Didn’t make the carpet feel clean

The person at the desk that checked me into the hotel.. proficient I've been staying at that hotel for 6 years.. an elevator doesn't work, the air conditioner didn't work, the restaurant inside went downhill, the pool was gross, the toilet was clogged... I think it's under new management. We will not be going back there.

The hotels.com posting is wrong and they tried charging me for parking. Ended up not paying it but just a warning for future travelers, desk clerk said it started 2 weeks ago. Huge empty parking lot so it feels like a cheat for more money. Room smelled strong of perfume and realized why after pulling the comforter and smelling a strong sent of smoke/burned plastic. Rest of the place seemed nice .

it was a very clean room and i slept well for what little time i had available.

My stay was great. My only problem is the pillows. I would say get firmer pillows instead of using all of them just to get comfortable.
