Such a great location and a great place to stay!!
-
Very nice location. Ice machine was broke, huge cobweb above toilet and front desk could not print out a receipt for our rooms
-
Clean, well maintained property, room, & building.
-
Clean room. Helpful staff. Nice patio area. Kids enjoyed the pool.

Everyone was friendly, the room was very clean and comfortable
-
Good clean hotel, helpful staff. Rooms were spacious. My only drawback is if I wanted coffee or breakfast I had to use Starbucks, which I did not.
-
They were nicest people and help me out and made and excepted me a 19 year old to stay there without a 21 year old

It was good clean hotel. Bed was little hard. But would stay there again

It was a clean room, with ample space (wheelchair accessible, even though we didn't need it). The air was pretty fresh - I always travel with an air cleaner, just in case.Amenities were good - fridge, coffee maker, microwave and hair dryer. Really nice room. It was easy to check in and we were 10-15 minutes before checkin time, but they got us in right away. There were a few restaurants really closeby. It was an easy drive to Morton amphitheater. I appreciated that we didn't have to check out until noon. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

The Bad: Very dirty. All the hall and elevator floors look like they haven’t been vacuumed in weeks. Our room floor was covered in hair when we walked in and the couch was crumby. The tables and tops were covered in sticky spots like they hadn’t been wiped down. The place is pretty, just not clean. No breakfast included, and the food is overpriced and didn’t look good at all. I didn’t try it so take my opinion with caution. The hot tub is covered in dirty foam because they just add chlorine rather than clean it. The Good: The pool is big. Fitness room is good. The fire pit is a wonderful addition for a relaxing chat. They have a very limited Starbucks menu in the cafe. Convenient parking. 10 stars to the staff, they were all soooo friendly and happy.

The shower in the handicapped shower room 415 was horrible. It is a lawsuit ready to happen. The shower curtains does not reach the bottom of the shower and the flooring of the shower was as slick as ice and all the water flows to the middle of the bathroom floor making the whole bathroom floor wet and slippery. We had to mop the room every time after shower with towels. We even refused to take a shower on Sunday morning make sure we don’t slip and fall. I requested some facial tissue as we were out of them, at the front desk and they said somebody will bring it up in 5 minutes and it did not come until we checked out. When we called room service they said the mail box was full and couldn’t take any new messages.,The Starbucks coffee place had people who couldn’t make a simple Cappuccino order without messing it up. They were news to the job. Lighting in the room was very poor. All in all was not very happy with the facilities for the money we paid.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We drove into Kansas City very early in the morning for appointments at KU Medical Center. After a long drive and a stressful day of appointments, we arrived at the Marriott Briarcliff with a sigh of relief. We were completely exhausted and yearned for a much needed respite. The front desk attendant went above and beyond to find us a room that was ready and allowed us to check in a bit early. That small act of kindness meant more than they probably realized! She gave us the chance to finally rest and decompress. There are certainly hotels closer to KU Medical Center, but we continue to choose Briarcliff because of the extraordinary staff, peaceful atmosphere, and quiet luxury we experience every single time we stay. Exceptional hospitality is about more than a beautiful property; it’s how you make people feel when they walk through the door. Briarcliff consistently gets that right! It’s our first and only choice of hotels in Kansa City.

Room was very comfortable and clean. Beautiful view of the area and enjoyed a nice fire pit on the patio.

Wonderful!

Great location for our needs. Parking was free…wahoo! We didn’t partake of the pool or the restaurant. The room was comfortable. Although our refrigerator was frozen over & after breaking off as much ice as we could it didn’t keep our food cold overnight. Staff was kind & helpful. Our room did have some dirty spots that were overlooked by housekeeping. We got a deal on the room…not sure we’d pay the norm for a future stay.
