The place had a bad odor.

Not well

Check-in was horrible. The motel smells horrible. People are talking about drugs in the hallway and we had roachs in our room.

The only reason to come back is the prize.

This motel is convenient for the Kansas City airport, but it was not more than average.

If you're looking for a cheap place to crash, well, this is it. This motel has not been updated in decades. It took me over 15 minutes just to check in. The room appeared clean, but there were noticeable stains on the carpet and walls. One light, over the table, did not work. First night, I killed a 1/2" beetle. In the next few nights, I killed a couple baby ones. The front lobby was pretty sketch, me there were zero amenities. It was a late booking and it saved me $500 for the five nights I was there over any other hotel in the area. No plans to stay here again.

I ended up not staying due to roaches in my room and it being dirty with dirty toenail clippings all over the floor after I told them I was leaving and not going to go with one of the other rooms they showed me which also smelled like cat pee, and or had stink bugs all over them and or weren’t super clean they became very rude and started harassing me over receipt for the pet cleanup fee refund that I got issued and called me over 15 times back to back when I wouldn’t answer after I told him I didn’t have it and he was yelling at me saying he had me on camera taking said receipt and that he needed it even though the next day they told me that they could’ve just reprinted the copy that he needed. For the same price I stayed at a nearby super eight that was like the Westin in comparison.

The room was ok but not good. The property was sketchy. There weren't enough supplies in the bathroom and the staff was a mixed bag of helpful or not. Do not go expecting a great stay. But we needed a place to sleep and that's we what we got. There were roaches in the room as well

I dont know where to start! I thought I have been to worst but our stay here in KCI Lodge was a nightmare. There was a lot os stink bugs all over the wall and windows. They moved us to the other room to find more bugs. The receptionist said just do not open the window because it is the time of the year for the bugs to come out. Unbelievable!Takes 2 person to turn on the show. The smell is unforgivable. The bed feels like you are sleeping on a pile of clothes, squeaked and too small. The lobby looks like a dirty kitchen as we walked thru. I felt we were in the morgue. Around 3 am there was a fight that broke through. We didn’t think twice to checked out after staying for 9 hours. I dont know why this Inn is still in business.

light next to bed had no bulb, no sheet, just convortors, the shower only had one tempearature and that was scalding hot, the lamp over the table would not turn on

Nothing Everything. I want my money back. I didn’t even get to stay at the hotel. You stole my money.

You get what you pay for. Overall not a bad price we did see a bug in our bathroom.
