Motel 6 Kilgore, TX

The stay was ok as far as the rooms. Minimum stuff. But what do you expect for a $80 one night stay. The lead manager at the time is very rude when speaking over the phone. Trying to call to see if car keys were left in the room and lady started yelling and refusing to double check. I would like to have her reported on poor customer service.

The property was clean, beautified and mowed. Everything looked great

The room was clean but no kleenex or shower amenities and the electric, including overhead lights and phone charger area on both sides of the bed, did not work. Also note, this property after hours has the out of country person online Zoom check in through a screen if that makes you uncomfortable.

Cockroaches microwave don't work broken toilet seat and no swimming pool that I was promised

The secludedness, this about the 4th or 5th time my hunny & I have been here..we love it here. No comment I liked everything,

Fridge inside room never got cold. Which was terrible cause we had leftovers from restaurant. When we walked into the room the air was completely off and it was so hot in the room. Had to turn on air and thankfully I brought a fan. Left after turning air on cause it was too hot. You can’t have the air turned off in 98 degree heat outside. Pool had a cover so not able to use pool. Just seems like $75 is a bit much for no pool and a much older hotel. That you can clearly see the wear and tear. checkout is supposed to be 11:00am but woman came knocking twice before check out. Front desk lady was nice at check in.

the staff was rude and the picture of property shows them having a pool and they didn't. So I canceled my stay!!

room was clean and practical staff was courteous, amenities minimalistic air conditioning excellent pool closed yet, overall, for the price, a perfect place

Great location The room is very dark

rudest staff I met my entire month on the road. I am disabled and my husband goes into check us in because I have mobility issues. the front desk clerk (probably an owner) insisted since the resv was in my name that I get out of my vehicle to sign in. my husband explained my issues and that woman said..."well, she's going to walk into the room, right?". I made every resv on this trip and NEVER had to get out of my truck to sign in. in a couple places my husband was able to show my id and they could see me in the truck to know it was really me and let him sign us in. I worked as a front desk clerk for almost 20 yrs and never would have treated a guest, especially a disabled one, like she treated me. we get to the room and the smell was awful and there were dead bugs inside and very much alive roaches all over outside in the evening and morning. just disgusting. when you know you have guests checking in during a hot summer day you turn on the a/c to welcome the guest but not this place. never going back.

Overall, good stay.

No coffee pit..had to put 60 deposit for towels..not mentioned til checkin No ice

The location. Beds were comfy. Room was clean. Nice cold AC. Good price for the stay. There was no issues with our room.
