Sunrise Inn Hotel

A lot of suspicious activity outside of entrance smelled like marihuana and cigarette smoke through out the inside of the property sheets were dirty towels were old shower had mold couches had questionable white stains.

This property is older and rundown. The outside landscaping was all dead. We waited 30 minutes to check in because we arrived at shift change. The clerk leaving said another would be there in 10 minutes, but it was 30. The room was clean, but rundown. Paint peeling off the walls in the bathroom. The furniture was older and damaged. The chair in the room I would not sit on due to its appearance. There were no amenities to speak of other than good TV. The surrounding area seemed rundown as well and our room was on the street side and Cheyenne is very busy and noisy. I personally did not want to stay based on the appearance, but the rate was nonrefundable and we just needed to get some sleep before getting back on the road, so we stayed.

Very dirty. Subject screaming in the hallway and swearing and pounding on doors well after 3am. Staff noticed and chose to ignore.

The blackout curtains were very good and the room smelled like bleach when I came in - indicating it was cleaned. Needed blackout curtains as outside was lit up like football stadium for security purposes. The room heating/ air conditioner was noisy - good thing, as it covered street noise and muffled the sirens of emergency vehicles going by Everything else: the window slid and had no lock (my room was ground level) I barricaded the furniture around it. One piece of furniture was duct taped. The upholstered chair looked so scuffed up and dirty I was scared to sit on it. There was inadequate lighting in the room. Poor hotel choice on my part. I am surprised Booking recommended this property - disappointed rather . Paid $84 for one night - expensive return

This hotel was by far the best hotel i have ever stayed at the ambient is very chill the staff are the best them ladies work there butts of and go the extra mile to make sure the tenants are comfortable i will defenetly recommend this place to everyone

So if the woman who works days during the week ran the hotel I would still be living there! My best friend and I have been traveling last couple of years so we have stayed at alot of hotels..during the week it was actually pretty lovely here.front desk lady was on point and always greated us with a smile and was very knowledgeable about hotel and nearby attractions. We felt like we were in good hands. Then cut to the weekend or evening at this hotel and it was like a completely different place! The vibe was cold the ladies were rude and unprofessional and down right unreasonable and mean at times the Hawaiian woman actually made me cry one night..dont get me started about the maids! At check out one of them commented about the amount of garbage in my garbage can and kicked a plastic cup that had fallen out my direction! Every day it was pulling teeth to get towels and tp. I have never stayed at a hotel with such rude maids! When do maids confront guests? Usually they are so polite! Hotel is bizarre!! Anyway I recommend during the week otger than that no way

Absolutely horrible experience from start to finish. I was never even able to stay at this hotel because of how bad everything was. The first issue happened immediately when the front desk gave me a key to a room that was already occupied. I opened the door only to realize someone else was already inside. This was shocking, embarrassing, and honestly made me feel extremely unsafe. A mistake like that is completely unacceptable and should never happen at any hotel. To make matters worse, the property had a terrible odor. The smell throughout the hotel was overwhelming and made it feel dirty and poorly maintained. Instead of trying to resolve the situation or showing any genuine concern, the staff was unhelpful and acted as if the situation wasn’t a big deal. There was no sense of urgency, no sincere apology, and no effort to make things right. After everything that happened, I no longer felt comfortable or safe staying there and decided to leave. I had to find other accommodations at the last minute, which completely disrupted my plans and caused unnecessary stress. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and I would not recommend this property to anyone. Management seriously needs to address both the security issues and the level of customer service being provided.
