Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Lawrenceville by IHG

It’s close proximity to Little Red Barn breakfast restaurant was the only real upside. It had a lingering smell to it and the entry way road to the hotel was damaged, making for an uncomfortable right of way. The Owner seemed to be reprimanding an employee at the front counter/help desk upon our initial check in. I almost felt as if I was the one intruding, which is ironic since I was in fact the paying customer.

Love Holiday Inn. The beds are extremely comfortable and the room was very clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean room and comfortable bed Rainy day and windy, would have liked to go swimming but the high winds blew debris into the pool and it was a cooler day. Next time. The property was just buried to far from the road.

Customer service was Superb !!! Room was clean... Queen beds were comfortable. Sofa bed was not comfortable. Breakfast was fresh every morning. This was our 2nd visit. This will be our go-to hotel whenever we visit Lawrenceville.

On the positive side, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good. The staff members who assisted us were kind and tried to help resolve the issues we experienced. I would like to share my experience during my stay because the issues we encountered were extremely frustrating and affected our family’s comfort. We initially stayed in room 206. On the first day, everything was fine. On the second day, I extended our checkout time and later added a second night to our reservation. I was informed by staff that I could check out and transition into the new reservation at 12:00 PM. I was at the pool with my children until approximately 11:30 AM. I then went to the front desk to complete the checkout/check-in process, but there was no staff member available. I returned to the room with my children while waiting, as I needed to change my toddler’s diaper. When I tried to enter the room, my key no longer worked and I was locked out. I returned to the front desk, but there was still no one available. I had to look for assistance in order to get help accessing my room. After finally getting back into the room, I discovered that the bathroom ceiling was leaking water with large drops coming down. Staff moved us to another room, but when we arrived with our children and baby, we found that the toilet in the new room was not working. I called the front desk again and was told we would be moved to another room. I packed all of our belongings for a second time, but before moving I called to confirm the new room. I was then informed that there were no more rooms available and that maintenance had already left. At that point, I was extremely frustrated because it felt like one issue after another since 11:30 AM. Eventually, a maintenance person was able to come and repair the toilet, but this entire situation was unnecessary and could have been avoided. The toilet mechanism appeared to be very old and likely needed replacement or maintenance before it failed. This raises concerns about the overall maintenance and inspection of the hotel’s facilities.
