The staff were great! The only thing that we had a problem with was the mattress. It felt like coils were trying to push through. Rough night of sleep but otherwise, a great place to stay.
-
Walking distance to Beale Street and walking distance to several restaurants in the area You have to valet

Very Good And Friendly and Clean
-
A/C didn't work in room. Set at 72 my entire stay, but room was never cooler than 75. Outdoor temp was in low 80s. Overall, the place was a bit dingy and the breakfast buffet was wildly overpriced at $16.

Good location

Location Dirty and old

Location Room was very dark. Not enough lamps or lights.
-
Close to Beale street Breakfast was too expensive with very little undercooked items

I made a reservation for the Holiday Inn Downtown Memphis through Expedia, but the hotel gave my room away and did not have any other rooms available, so I cancelled, but I was charged for the room. Very unsatisfied.
-
On their website, they claimed that they had an airport shuttle, which they do not. I would not have stayed there if that service wasn’t available.

Room was very clean

We were in Memphis to watch our grandson's college team play baseball at the Redbirds stadium. It is less than a 5 minute walk to the stadium. All the staff were great and helpful with our requests. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast consisted of cereals, juice, coffee, milk, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and french toast. It came with our room package and as good as it was, I would not have paid $15.00 for it.The hostess was very nice However, the air conditioning was not working in the lobby, diningroom, elevators, or the hallways. The water in the tub and sink was cold. Maintenance was not coming in for an hour. So, we turned the water on and let it run wide open. After at least 30 minutes, the water started to feel lukewarm and after 45 minutes it was finally hot. We would stay there again inspite of it taking so long for the water to get hot. My suggestion - check the water temperature immediately upon entering the room rather than in the morning. That way you can get maintenance on top of it.

Hotel employee did great jobs helping us with the room and breakfast. The location was great for enjoying Beale Street, just a short walk away. Lobby air conditioning was not working, first room they put us in had a serious leak in bathroom from ac unit above the room, second bathroom had signs of a previous leak. Parking was higher than expected.
-
The convenience to a few places It was hot, my room wouldn’t cool less than 76. False advertised room service in which he was rude. Decided to tell mr he don’t even do pick up because of his last experience as of that had anything to do with me.
-
Location Property was dirty. Water stains on wall from a rusty fire sprinkler in the room, carpet was nasty. Hot water was pretty much non-existent. Valet wasn’t helpful. No air conditioning in the lobby.
-
The location was convenient. We checked in and apparently the air was out bc it was so hot in the lobby and they had fans everywhere. The hotel was old and worn out. The rooms were tiny. We went in the last night and our room wreaked of marijuana. I spent over $100 in parking fees which was ridiculous for a holiday inn, and it was not disclosed when booking the room.

We have stayed at the Holiday Inn previously, but never again. It is a dump. Nothing worked. Breakfast was disgusting, cutlery filthy. The hot food was inedible. Don’t stay there
-
Staff is rude and not helpful. Hotel was dirty, the hall smell like marijuana. The air vents in the room are packed with dust. Not a great experience.

The pictures of this property do not represent the actual property. The rooms are disgusting. The air vents are so clogged with dust that There’s no airflow. The hallway carpet smells. There were stains on the ceiling in the bathroom. Dirty tile. Random hairs and the sink and shower upon checking in, just a filthy place. The whole place is just very rundown and dirty. Also the valet staff upon parking there told me the cost was “about $30“ when I asked him what that meant, he simply repeated “about $30“ upon pressing him again how much it cost exactly he said he wasn’t sure but probably “$30“ well the receipt came and it was $42 plus tip. When we stayed there, the lobby, air conditioner wouldn’t work and the room air conditioners barely kept the room at a taller temperature. You may be tempted to stay here because the price is good, but save yourself the misery and find another place. Do not recommend this place to anyone.
