The breakfast was the best I have had. You order from a menu they are fantastic.

someone tried to enter our room after 1 am -- they would have had to have a key to do that -- when i looked out the keyhole there was no one there. who would have had key access?

Beautiful, historic hotel! This was walking distance to great barbecue at Rendezvous and just a few blocks to Beale Street! The bed was comfy & the room had all the amenities we wanted. Having Beekman shampoos & lotions was a lovely touch! The staff were helpful & super friendly, sharing historical details about the hotel & offering suggestions & directions.

The hotel was decent. The room had been cleaned but there was still dust in the room. The staff was helpful and provided recommendations for food and activities.

Comfy beds, large rooms, staff were friendly, provided us with parking in a garage next door No hot water for the whole stay so showering was not nice (and a basic amenity). Was meant to be fixed but was cold in the second day also. Rooms were a bit loud (can hear people talking in rooms, cars outside and slamming of doors), room key was temperamental. The air con also kept setting itself to very high temperatures and overriding didn’t do much. Bar also shut at 9pm!!

Breakfast was good but coffee terrible. No half and half or milk available. Bed was made as if by 6 year old. Bottom sheet on inside out kept popping off corners. 2nd night mattress pad had been put on top. Top sheets crumpled under pillows instead of folded neatly. Nothing tucked in. Phone to front desk was broken. Thermostat set to freezing 57 was nearly impossible to reprogram . No one available to help.

The location was pretty much the only plus, everything else was disappointing The pictures are very misleading, it didn’t look as good as it does on the ad - especially the room was pretty run down. When we arrived the TV didn’t work and we had to reset it ourselves. We weren’t able to reach reception from the phone as there was no information provided about the number to dial and when we went down ourselves they told us maintenance wasn’t there so we couldn’t fix the issue. Also the fan in the room was damaged, we wanted to switch it off but it kept turning on again every half an hour which made it impossible to sleep because of the noise and freezing air. Reception came up but they also weren’t able to help.

decor facilities that were not explained, no idea was there a gym, breakfast included?? It wasn't we got a voucher towards breakfast, didn't cover it. No clean towels and we ran out of toilet paper... room not serviced no parking, car park next door does not work without a US phone number

Amazing staff. Great room and location. Down side was the elevator was broken. Still was a great hotel in spite of the elevator.
