Hu. Hotel

Well we were not sure if the shower was we shower with flip flops. Our bed not sure but it seemed like the foot of the bed was elevated up more it was weird but we were only there a couple of days so we delt with it we did not want any issues but now I have to dispute some charges, that we did not make or get any services

Very nice front desk staff. Parking was across the street but has in/out privaleges. We had a great time!

This was my first time staying overnight in Memphis. I will ONLY stay at the Hu Hotel from now on. The entire staff was AMAZING. I didn't get everyone's name but I did get Joshua, and Tony's name. The lady with the short hair, cute frames and teal nails polish was amazing as well.My family and I were treated like FAMILY. I have only one concern, in room 806 the blue couch had what appeared to be a blood stain on the back rest the couch near the window. That kind of creaped me out. Also, the security latch on the door was broken as well.

They canceled our room around 5pm when we tried to check in at 3pm. They said they didnt have hot water or ac. They didnt offer any help or another room. We missed half our concert, waiting for them to check us in and then having to find another place to stay. This place ruined our vacation and takes no responsibility for it and even charged us a fee when refunded our money 5 days after canceling our room upon arrival.

The place needs a lot of work. Dingy old carpet. Parking is paid out of your deposit. We didnt know beforehand. Continental breakfast was ok for $10, also taken out of deposit. Staff Extremely friendly and welcoming.

We were here for a wedding. Didn't get a chance to experience tge property, however tge property was really nice.

This property did not live up to what was expected. It was not maintained to the standard you would expect and parking was not on site or included in the price. It would have been nice to know this during booking. The room was nice, but maintenance neglect was still evident from carpeting that was rippled to a bathroom door that didn’t stay shut to hot and cold water facets that were on the wrong sides and mislabeled. It wasn’t bad and the staff was very friendly. It worked for the night, but wouldn’t stay again.

They checked us into our hotel room and there was no running water, couldn't flush the toilets and the A/C wasn't working in the entire hotel but they never bothered to tell us. We finally had to wait 20 minutes to talk to a manager because the front desk didn't want to admit to anything. Terrible service and we would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Friendly staff

Property was relatively close to downtown activities. Beale st. about 12 min away for a slow walk. Flat walk :) Hotel staff were very friendly. Door man was terrific. Breakfast was just ok. Would stay again.

We had no water the first day and it went off again when my husband was showering the next morning. We were told we’d receive a free night as compensation. Breakfast was adequate but not brilliant. Room was made up each day. The rooftop bar was really good and made the hotel stay much better. Location good.

Room was clean and spacious. The staff was absolutely amazing with recommendations for food and sight seeing and they were all so very friendly! Great location with a quick walk to Beale street and many close food options. Only negative thing I have to say is no coffee pot in the room, but we survived, there’s a Starbucks right up the street! Will definitely recommend to our friends!

Shower had leftover soap and soap wrap in the floor. I reported it and showed photo. Nothing was done. Several hours later I reported again. It was removed as was a towel, bathmat and hand towel. Leaving one towel and a face cloth I used as a bathmat. Next day all towels removed requiring me to visit front desk to get set of towels Next day at 2:40pm returned to the room to find bed stripped and doona pillows on the lounge . Again to front desk to ask for bed to be made to free up the lounge . Excuse was it was linen change day and they forgot to return ? Last day was advised of hotwater maintenance off until 4,pm At 6 water was brown and not clearing or hot. Front desk informed they were still working on it. Also the air con was now running at 79. Desk informed this was affected by the hot water. Were offered to take a cup of water which we already had in order to brush teeth. Very uncomfortable night. Carpets stained Hotel and room is very nice Location was easy walk to Pyramid, Peabody Ducks and Beale St . Breakfast is very limited. Only has it once as Coffee was empty. Milk for cereal was empty No one was attending to refill until I reported to front desk . For a nice hotel room cleanliness was poor .

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was helpful and very professional.

I had a very good experience and would definitely recommend. I love all the staff as they were professional and very helpful.
