Fairfield Inn & Suites By Marriott Minneapolis Downtown

Everything with the hotel was good. Parking is $35, so thats an extra costs. The negative at this location is all the road noise. We stayed on a Friday night and the constant racing up and down the streets went on until 3AM, so not good if you want to sleep. The hotel was excellent. The staff were excellent. The room was like new.

Clean, modern updated room. Smelled nice. Neighborhood was sketchy. Walked 4 blocks to State Theatre safely but nervous. Would have been nice to have a shuttle from hotel.

Staff, wonderfully helpful, we were able to check/in early. We checked out on time, and front desk stored our bags for late afternoon flight. Room - clean . Sheets - clean. B,fast: continental good, the staff was super detailed and kept everything stocked. Thank you.

The only complaint I have is our room only had 1 bar of soap and 1 wash cloth. Other than that our stay was good.

Bkfst was a little lax.. but got me through…

The new bathroom and shower were excellent Paying for parking. Windows need a thick curtain because my room was affected by parking lot light all night. I couldn't sleep well

Passable

The property is clean and the rooms comfortable. We tried to check in at 2:30pm and were told rooms were not ready. We sat across from reception and watched numerous groups check in. I don’t know why she didn’t let us know rooms were ready when we were clearly waiting. I was also supposed to get free beverages as a hotels.com VIP member which was not supported by the hotel. Not even water bottles in the room. We also didn’t receive room service which was odd.

Hotel was in a convenient location and was easy for us to walk to the concert. Breakfast and staff were amazing. Plenty of food options available in the area. Just wish I had known had to pay to park there overnight.

The breakfast was average at best.

I stayed 2 nights to be close to the university. I parked across the street which is much less expensive than hotel parking. Breakfast was simple, typical Marriott fare but perhaps a bit lower quality than usual. Coffee was awful, Not too close to downtown if hat is what you want. But quiet and convenient to get around, Walker sculpture garden is only 6 min away.

Clean hotel and helpful staff

They didn't clean our room.

Very inconsistent hotel, staff was very helpful, great location, quiet,clean, and modern. However, breakfast was terrible, never any food, rarely coffee made, house keeping inconsistent as well.

Loved how close they are to the Target Center and so many restaurants. Very nice hotel and friendly staff!

My son was attending a concert at the Target Center. We were close enough where he could walk. I work 3rd shift and I got the best sleep I have gotten in a really long time. I will definitely go back if I'm in the area.

Was told that the complimentary drink we got with our stay was from the cooler at the front desk, but upon checkout, we were told it was an alcoholic drink from next door. So we had to turn that down.

Quiet rooms staff were helpful

Located close enough to some nice restaurants, to walk, or a short Uber ride, also sporting venues are pretty close too. Comfortable accommodations, that doesn’t break the bank!
