It was a clean place but the bed sucked the mattress was lumpy and you could feel every spring in it! My back hurt so bad it was hard to go out walking the city

My favorite place to stay when I visit

  • Engine customer Oct 2026

I’ll be honest, the room and the hotel itself, not bad.

  • Engine customer Oct 2026

Great location, felt like a safe area Broken elevator, towels left on floor in hallway like maybe there were leaks

    Everything was fantastic!!

There were two Kleenex tissues in the box in the bathroom. Stihl supply individual shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and bar soap. Wish they had the updated version of large containers bolted in the shower wall. Front Desk clerk was Not very enthusiastic. Called down for a wake up call at 6 AM and didn’t receive it. Location is convenient and parking is close. Overall it was OK but nothing outstanding, except for the price this Wednesday evening.

Absolutely amazing stay! My significant other and I really enjoyed our visit. The room was wonderful, and we were especially grateful to find such a beautiful hotel that accommodated my service dog. I did want to share a couple of small suggestions. First, the tint or film on the suite windows made it difficult to fully enjoy the city view. If it could be removed, the view would truly be TOP TIER. And also the lighting wasn’t as great bulb needs to be on 75/100 watts. lol I really like to see in the room it was so dim, but we made it work! Second, around 10:00 a.m., housekeeping began trying to enter the room by rattling the door handle. Didn’t knock and luckily he was standing near to grab the door and yell out we’re still in here….and immediately he grab the door bc he was indisposed and not dressed, Our checkout time was 11:00 a.m., not 10:00 a.m. He was upset and we mentioned it to the front desk manager, who said he would let housekeeping team know. about the incident!! Other than that, we had a wonderful experience and will definitely be staying again!

    Exceptional

Honestly, I would not stay here again. The hotel itself is fine and the location is great for events at the Superdome. However, these are my complaints. 1) I asked a Valet which street my Husband should come down as we were confused upon arrival and he said "you have to ask the front desk" and walked away from me. That felt odd and rude. 2) We arrived around 10:00 AM so I asked if we could keep our bag in a check-in closet and then check-in after the Saints Game. The woman checked me in without even telling me and then handed me a room key and said "bring it to me after." I had no idea she meant upon checking out and had to clarify if the key was to put my bags somewhere and then she rudely said "that's your room." 3) My husband had to get up on a chair and use part of a hanger to fix the vent so that the AC wasn't blowing up at the ceiling but blowing out so that we could properly feel air. 4) I had the same woman upon check-out and she didn't offer me a bill just took the keys and said "goodbye." As someone whose lived in Louisiana for 13 years this is not southern hospitality and New Orleans is a big hospitality industry. Very unimpressed with the service of this small hotel vs. the service I've received from big chain hotels in New Orleans. Overall, book at your own risk.

The room was very hot when we arrived. I understand the windows and sun cause that problem, but it was 78 degrees in our room with the AC down to 60. It got down to 75 degrees by 5PM. The hot water in the shower took at least 20 minutes to get hot. We didn't think the hot water even worked. It was a great location.

Location good I would have expected a hot shower at least one of the 5 days i stayed, their was no hot water in my room at all and a string of excuses from staff

  • Engine customer Oct 2026

Location was perfect and the staff was very friendly. Room was comfortable. Elevator was broken for several days. I had to change rooms because the door handle was about to fall off. Maintenance came but did nothing. However I was given another room.

    Passable

  • Engine customer Oct 2026

Location is great, right on the streetcar line. within walking distance to major attractions. Hotel needs serious maintenance and cosmetic upgrades. Damaged furniture, old paint, broken elevators, plumbing and appliance issues.

  • Engine customer Oct 2026

Hot water didn’t work. Ac didn’t work after complaining enough was moved to new room.

  • Engine customer Oct 2026

Everything I wanted to see and do was in walking distance. The gentleman at the front desk actually let me put my bag behind the counter till I was able to check in so I was able to walk around. The staff was terrific. Very helpful They had a nice little restaurant next-door excellent food and the button that I was there every morning was wonderful. Everybody in that place was so pleasant and nice. I will be going back there to the Blake hotel, and to that restaurant.

Solid location for a bit of walking - a covered parking garage right down the street for $40 a day - room was fairly large and not bad - place surely is older - only one elevator was working but did not seem to slow down waiting, even on the 8th floor - the shower pressure was well below average - pillows were super small so bring your own! Overall a solid place for the money and bonus with a festival right next door on Friday night!

Water damaged furniture. Coffee bags and coffee cups but no coffee maker. Door that didn’t work unless you pulled it closed and jiggled the key card over and over. Honestly trash overall

  • Engine customer Oct 2026

Location, nice staff Took me 2 days to figure which direction was hot water. Bed had a sink in the middle which caused my back to hurt so maybe that needs to be looked at and changed.

    Pleasant
