Catahoula Hotel New Orleans

Good clean cozy hotel with a rooftop vibe ! Not many people so it’s a quiet.

Room was clean. The toilet didn't work when we arrived but staff fixed it right away. Its within walking distance to superdome and restaurants.

Close to Bourbon St and the French Quarter with plenty of shopping options nearby. Quiet and maintained placed, a sleeper!

This was a great place to stay at a reasonable price. The only really weird thing was that the room had windows that faced a semi-enclosed walkway through which people walked to get to their rooms. There was a substantial gap between the blinds and the wall around the window, with the result that someone walking by could pretty easily catch a glimpse inside the room even without trying. And if they were trying, they could certainly see in - that includes the bed and the entrance to the shower. This seems like a pretty obvious flaw.

Where to start? Well the room we were checked into was very dirty. There wasn’t a shower curtain, and the bed was very uneven and so small and had a metal frame so that anyone over 5’8 barely could fit in, and being 6’2 made that an issue. After a rat near our front door and no sleep due to the bed situation, we asked for a new room the next day and got a change, however this room had a broken bed that was totally leaning to one side. There wasn’t at least a shower curtain, but the shower was just dirty as well as the floors. The staff was nice enough and the location was close enough to walk to the stadium, which was the real reason we booked . We paid for parking at $50 a night in an off property night and then on our LAST night we met someone else staying there that said it’s FREE on the weekends ! We literally got ripped off then as that’s outrageous pricing and to not have been told this by the hotel staff was a fail!!! Overall I’d never recommend this property.

Very terrible hotel not clean , barely livable. Front desk person didn’t know anything about the hotel at all

The hotel looks just like the pictures they have posted online. The rooftop terrace is amazing and the lower courtyard is very seclusive. It's so vintage. The staff is amazing in making sure you have everything you need and want. They were on top of everything. Transportation, coffee, hospitality. We will most definitely be back. No food or snacks offered BUT they are soooooooo conveniently located you can walk on any corner and find food. Surprisingly ?????

Location was convenient and price was good, but room was small and had lighting and plumbing issues. Noisy as well.

The vibes and look of the hotel are amazing! The staff was wonderful. Everything was great.

Stay was great . The breaker went off so the A/C was not working that night. I waited for someone to come but no one came . Other than that I was great

Horrible is not the word the ac didn’t work we don’t have lights in our room they just make it show like it’s a good place but no horrible very poorly maintained

The rooftop area and outside courtyard were so nice and relaxing!

This is such a cute hotel. We only stayed one night but we will be back. Staff was nice, close to everything. Hotel has such character.

Room can get a little hot at times but other than that it was a perfect short stay. Walking distance to Bourbon and Canal St.

The place is excellent & full of character. Definitely not your cookie cutter hotel. It was clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. My only (minor) complaint is the handheld shower head was broken. The main shower head functioned but the handheld did not and needs to be replaced. Overall an excellent place to stay!
