Its location and the staff Very old and needs renovation. The bathtub plumbing is from the 1800! The coffee maker was not working! The lobby is inadequate .

Each person of the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is great. Roof terrace on the 17 th. Short walk to the train station to "Jamaice station" and then airtrain to JFK airport. The elevators should get a revision and mechanical adaption. They are too much audible in some rooms. More options in the bathroom to hang towels.

The location Very expensive for the hotel type. Not very clean. Old room, furniture and bathroom need to be upgraded. No services as breakfast, cafeteria or restaurant.

Location was good, room was quiet. Smelly and old carpet. Shower set up was strange. Needs updating- but maybe what you get in NYC. Easy to get to subway and central park and Rocker-feller plaza was a big plus. Smaller hotel so not super busy. Lobby is nice, room was fine with nice view. What we paid would have expected little better room quality

No refrigerator in room unless requested, no mini bar, no lobby. Friendly and helpful staff and a decent sized room. Over priced for the amenities and relatively run down atmosphere.

Cool property with excellent location. We stayed on the top floor. Patio tiles on balcony were loose. Key cards didn’t work well in elevator and at door; employee spoke harshly to us like it was our fault. It wasn’t. No restaurant or cafe in hotel. No water or mini bar in room.

Habitación limpia y de tamaño adecuado para pareja que sólo necesita dormir y bañarse en un lugar limpio y céntrico. Hotel accesible y muy bien localizado en East 57th St entre Park y Lexington Aves. Personal muy amable, especialmente Daniel, el bellman y Eugenia, la señora que limpió nuestra habitación. El aire acondicionado funcionaba bien, aunque se congeló una noche, tal vez porque lo pusimos muy frío. No sé si tienen parqueo porque no nos hizo falta. No tienen restaurant o servicio de comida/bebida en el hotel, pero está muy cerca de muchos lugares de comida. No tiene neverita, pero sí cafetera.

Great location No cafe or restaurant for coffee in the am

While dated, the hotel offers a great value. Helpful staff, spacious rooms, and convenient location more than make up for a few shortcomings. I would return in the future if the their pricing remains attractive.

Location, Location, Location. Good prices (for Manhattan). Small rooms but quite comfortable and quiet.

Although the hotel has many reviews mentioning cleanliness, we were very disappointed with our experience. We had two rooms, and both were very dirty. The carpets were extremely dirty, and one of the blankets had many visible stains. We asked for fresh sheets for one room, and they provided them, but the blanket in the other room was so dirty that we did not feel comfortable using it. The air circulation was poor, and the bathroom ventilation did not work well. The shower was the worst part. It had a fixed showerhead and was very uncomfortable and difficult to use. There was no fridge in the room to keep water cold, and there was no liquid soap provided. We also preferred not to have staff enter our rooms, so we did not ask for additional cleaning. Overall, the cleanliness and room conditions were very disappointing. The hotel needs to improve its cleaning standards and basic room facilities.

Cheap spot not worth the price at all

The property was clean, bed was comfortable and pillows were also comfortable. Staff were friendly and kind. It was in a great spot. Close to time square, Central Park, restaurant and shopping. I will stay there again.
