There was a dead cockroach in the room when I first arrived and one of the lights flickered slightly.
-
The toilet is the size of a little kids toilet No fan in bathroom poor lighting Construction going on next store noises Hotel was clean staff was very good
-
Great size room and great area to stay.
-
The room size was exceptional.

The location is excellent if you want to be close to Central Park, restaurants and shops. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and spacious; however, the windows view was blocked by scaffolding and that made the room dark during the day, and the air conditioning was somehow old. The elevators were very efficient and fast, so there were no downtime accessing your floor or the lobby.

We had a very pleasant experience at The Lombardy. Location was very convenient for us. A ton of shopping and dining options nearby. Very happy with this pick.

I walked into the hotel after trying to check in online. It was past 11pm. The rate in Expedia for the queen room was around 250. When walking in they said they only had the king room available which was 500 usd +. I said I would book the room available through Expedia and he said - if you do that I will say it’s unavailable and cancel. In a few seconds he cancelled the availability through Expedia and made me pay more. Given it was raining and close to midnight it was a hard decision to walk out. So the checkin experience was strange and not very good. The highlife was the bellman who brought us water, was very kind and friendly. Completely different attitude from the checkin desk.

Great location Nothing
-
Not your fault but construction made things a little hard Need restaurant to reopen All else great
-
Old and badly needs updating, but good size room, especially for NYC. Stiff sheets. Good air conditioning. Room was clean and staff was polite. Loved that there was a mini fridge.
-
Always a pleasant stay. Staff great and rooms very nice.
-
This should not be called a 4star hotel The room was very dingy. The refrigerator was not functioning The air condition vents in the bathroom and bedroom were all rusty and looked moldy the lobby is shabby. We paid over $800 for the night. Very depressing place
-
Nice room. Would stay again
-
Great location. Spacious rooms. The suite was excellent for having others in. The only negative was that there were some dirty upholstery and frayed carpet.
-
The photo they show of the glamorous exterior was not our hotel experience. The entire front was covered with scaffolding which was a big negative. The front staff was not very helpful or even friendly. Upon inquiring we were informed that the “hotel” is made up of individually owned apartments which are then rented out for stays. So, simple amenities you may be accustomed to such as ice makers are non-existent - a simple request to the front desk for ice went completely unanswered. It’s not the customary hotel stay which is unfortunate considering it’s a pricy place to stay. There are so many other hotel choices in the big city and I would reco any one of them over this property.
