The Park Ave North

The room could be cleaner. The entire stay we were there no one came in and swept the floors or cleaned the bathroom even though we asked for the room to be cleaned. You could visibly see signs of dirt in the bathroom sink, toilet and shower. There was no fan in the bathroom to help with steam after a shower. There was no trash can in the actual room only in the bathroom. Since the building is very old, you could hear every creak. Some of the amenities shown in pictures were not available such as a terrace and kitchen.

This is a great place for an overnight stay for business or just a short trip. It has all the basics. Fresh bed and is clean. Nothing fancy but gets the job done.

Super squeaky, clean, high-quality cotton linens, excellent shower and bathroom, professional, friendly, helpful staff. Great location, parking for our car just a few steps away on the street for free. There was nothing not to like, this is a classic brownstone so the fact that there’s no elevator is totally normal.

Property was well kept.the rooms were clean. There was always an attendant there to answer any queries.

The staff was super helpful and it was a nice cute place. The area isn’t the best but with the locks I felt safe for my night!

Small room & bathroom, but comfortable. Good control over AC. Nice to have both a microwave and refrigerator. No parking available. 10-15 minute walk to subway stops. Steep stairways at entrance and to each floor - no elevator. Limited desk staff 10am - 6pm.

Nice stay

Easy check in but note you have to do in set hours, reception not always attended. In fact from us checking in we never saw anyone. Very quiet room/area, you can only hear the air conditioning. Nice clean room, 10 minutes to subway then 15-20 to New York

Super cute hotel in the brownstone style with some old world charm. Three stories, no elevator. WiFi and air conditioning but no other real amenities. Frig, freezer, microwave, coffee maker and hair dryer in the room. We would stay there again!

Good location with subway close to getting in and out of the city. Had everything we needed in a room for 3 people but it was fairly noisy with people arriving and leaving at all times and there was no lifts so people were loud getting luggage down the stairs. The neighbourhood was fairly safe but had a fair amount of homeless people as most city’s would.
