We had a wonderful stay! We will definitely stay here again, if we are in the Newport area.

Beautiful property with spacious rooms and a peaceful atmosphere. We were so grateful, they let us check in early after a 15-hour flight, which made such a difference travelling with the family. The room was huge and perfect for us, and we really enjoyed having so much space to relax. Breakfast included was also great, and the location was convenient, approximately 10 minutes from the beach. We had a lovely stay and would happily return! The parking fee

Stay somewhere else, rooms are dated , parking is ridiculous and the fee is $45. Nightly. Room was very noisy at night, sounds like you’re on top of a freeway. Staff made no attempt to help after several conversations including a Manager. Better choices nearby

Location is very good. The hotel is a bit outdated and may need some renovations soon. Breakfast was really good and the waiters were very kind and friendly. Parking is about $40. We will probably stay here again only because the location is great!

Room was great. Plenty of room for two people and family and kids to visit who were also staying at the hotel. Bed was very comfortable. I loved that the pool had space to swim laps and that half of the pool was covered so I could stay out of the sun. Very friendly staff both at the front desk and at the restaurant. Breakfast that we paid extra for was very large and tasty. The location was close to restaurants, an airport and close to other beach sites both in newport and in laguna.

Great stay!

The rooms were clean but the place was dated. The walls were damaged, popcorn ceiling, carpet style, bathrooms had acid stains on the floor, curtains had holes in them so not really fully blacked out. The holes looked like a bug ate them. Staff were very friendly though. I wouldn’t go back unless the rooms are updated.

We went with the intention of having a good weekend, and we had to travel with two cars. Upon our arrival, they told us we had to pay $45 per car for parking at a hotel that was not cheap at all. We ended up having to look for another hotel at 9:30 PM with a small child in the car. It is a complete outrage! Put your parking fee on the first page and advertise the $45 price.

Parking should be included. $45 for overnight parking is a bit excessive.

I was underunder impressed with the place. I thought Marriott would be a beautiful hotel all marttiott, and because it's Newport. Especially newport beach back bay. The rooms were very small.The bath tub was tiny.The toilet was low , so low , you had it practically do a squat to get on there. Advertised all suit rooms everthing was extra was very expensive. They wouldn't accept my bond voy points. I am a elite marriott member. I had to pay for parking.\n And the buffet breakfast was supposed to come with it, I'm supposed to get a continental breakfast and I didn't,get the vouchers and so I had to pay full price for breakfast. The pool area was very small and overcrowded with kids. I have to say you're workout.Gym area was great. The food was very good for dinner.And the breakfast buffet had to pay extra on top of forty five dollars to get omelet , way too expensive. This time of high economic prices , you call that a ripoff. So I would not recommend that I'll go back there. I've gone to j. w Marriott, I have been to the other Marriott on cook street, very nice I stayed at Marriott in San Diego, but I would have got a better deal if I went to the embassy suite is really big rooms. And Clean the breakfast is free and hudge buffet. They have A Happy.\nHour, food, which is free, they have a gym.They gave a pool , so unfortunately , I didn't go there.

Breakfast was good, but don't prepay unless you want the buffet. Just order off the menu. I called before arriving to find out if there was a robe/slippers in my suite. Was told no, packed both, both were in the room. Not thrilled with staff not knowing room amenities. I'm a platinum expedia member and booked a bayview suite and got the lowest and worst floor in the hotel. No upgraded even though the hotel was not full. Floor 3 of 9. Not impressed. I had more view of the roof below and it was also so close to the pool it was incredibly loud. The rooms are DATED. Staff was fine, housekeeping good, bartender at pool good.
