Great rooms, and really friendly staff!

The hotel was in a great spot for what we were there for. The staff were very pleasant. The room was clean and large. The only complaint is there were no non skid appliqués in the bottom of the tub nor a bath mat. Needless to say we had to stay in one spot in the back of the tub and lean our heads to shampoo + no towel. rack or anything in the tub to hold on to.. Very scary and disappointing when you needed a hot shower after hours of standing at a concert! Otherwise an enjoyable stay.

I had a very nice stay at the Monte Carlo Hotel in Ocean City. The location was excellent, the room was comfortable, and having a jacuzzi in the room made the stay even more enjoyable. It was a great place to relax and enjoy the beach and boardwalk. One small thing I noticed was a little bit of water/moisture on the carpet near the jacuzzi. It wasn’t a major issue or something that affected my stay, but I thought it was worth mentioning just so the hotel can keep an eye on it. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely consider coming back. Thank you to the Monte Carlo team for a pleasant experience!

I am incredibly disappointed with how this hotel handles emergencies and treats its customers. This past weekend, an intense Nor'easter hit Ocean City, causing severe coastal flooding, major road closures, and life-threatening beach hazards. The Ocean City Police Department explicitly warned travelers to stay off the flooded roads and avoid downtown entirely, and the Oceans Calling Festival was completely canceled due to the dangerous conditions. Despite local authorities declaring the area a hazard and urging people to stay away, this hotel refused to issue a refund simply because they chose to keep their doors open. Expecting families to risk their safety and drive into a flooded storm zone just to avoid losing their money is completely unacceptable. A reputable business should prioritize customer safety over profit during a documented weather emergency. I will never book with them again.

Convenient location, staff was friendly and accommodating.

The beds were super comfortable and the room was super spacious!

The room was very clean and well kept throughput the stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Air conditioning worked well, and the hot tub was totally worth it with the bad weather we had. Justvwhatvwe needed. My only complaint is about the coffee pot. I wish you could brew your own coffee in it, but there coffee wad okay. Everything else was wonderful!

We stayed in a queen bed room with partial ocean view. The room was clean but the bathroom needs a little bit of work, needs updating. We were looking forward to sitting out on the balcony but unfortunately we were unaware that this overlooks a homeless camp. It is part of the church across the street that provides food for the homeless. So they camp out there. If it wasn't for this, we would definitely book here again. It is close to everything and within walking distance. They also have a nice rooftop pool and bar area. The bar was not open when we were there but a nice area to hangout anyway.

Hot tub was great to have in the room.

Great staff. In need of a renovation due to old building. One elevator was rough to deal with.

Great location, view was a little disappointing

The pool was not heated,the room was not cleaned,we had to continue to ask for an iron iron because it was missing,the room smelt of mildew and all the amenities that were advertised were closed without reason.

We loved it! Was clean and spacious. Rooftop pool was nice great view. Nice size balcony with side view of the ocean and bay. Great location. I would definitely stay here again. We parked in the lot across the street from the hotel, parking is tight. Elevator is a little slow but was not really an issue.

Nice place

Reserved through booking on these dates drove 6hrs to get there only to find out there was no reservation and hotel Monte Carlo took a deposit from me for $608.58 for 2 rooms and would not refund it back to me on the account of there and bookings mistake I’m very disappointed in this our trip was ruined had to go pay out more for another hotel at the last minute I’m still fighting for my refund keep getting led on by the hotel and booking it is not fair to me and my family!

Was very close to the beach That the bar closes early. Maybe on the weekends until midnight. 8pm was too early for Saturday.

The staff were good. The room I was given was filthy it had hair in the bathroom and blood stains on the wall. The room was not cleaned for the 3 days I was there to stay. Also, smelled like poop. The second room was a little better and area was a little funny and wild. Boardwalk view was okay. I just wouldn’t stay there again in my opinion the indoor pool was definitely horrible very small like a kiddie pool and wasn’t nothing compared to the display online. Rooftop was decent I may say Jo bartender was nice to me. Pools were not clean outdated rooms with filthy couches that need to be remodeled. I am not trying to put a bad name on this hotel for me I feel it could’ve been better so I chanced it shower wasn’t great but it’s a hotel not your home. The iron was very filthy and dirty so was the ironing board . I didn’t eat at the place due to how it was maintained itself. I should’ve left the hotel and got refunded but I didn’t due to it being the weekend and ocean city is busy on those days from what I was told. The PARKING WAS VERY VERY HORRIBLE AND INCONVENIENT FOR ANYONE ESPECIALLY SOMEONE WHO HAD A WHEELCHAIR crushes or disabled. This is my view on things . I woke up a little late and the lady at the front said were you doing a late checkout mind you it was 11:33 am I woke up late took a shower and left as quickly as possible but the night before the worker herself told me I should be fine because they didn’t have a lot of booked rooming coming in!!!!!

Clean and a good location. Great staff
