Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Pensacola Beach

We had a wonderful time at our recent stay! The location of this hotel was fantastic, you can walk to several restaurants and attractions. Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable and soft, and the bathroom was nice. The daily provided continental breakfast had several options and of course the waffle makers which my kids loved. The pool at this hotel is wonderful with a lazy river and zero entry side. The beach is beautiful! Unfortunately we had to leave early due to an impending hurricane but the hotel did not charge us for those two nights. We will definitely be back!

What breakfast? What internet? Not knowing what I should have been told. No breakfast was provided. No internet because of hurricane.

It would have been better if they would had the balcony room I reserved. They still charge me the price for the balcony and I got a cheaper room what I did not reserve

The location and facilities were great! We walked everywhere we went. Rooms were rather basic for the price.

The breakfast wasn't as great, eggs were cold and limited on choices. Front desk lady seemed annoyed and not happy to be at work when we checked in. Room was nice and clean. Balcony was a plus and had great views. Overall the hotel was fine, would stay again.

The hotel room had a wet carpeting by the shower and a loud noise from the air cooling system on the roof and had to change hotel rooms during our day, but was not offered any type of discount for the inconveniences

I’m so pleased with this place! My husband and I have stayed here twice already, and we’re planning to come back for a third time. The hotel is very clean, the beds are comfortable, and the common areas are very well maintained. We stayed for a whole week, and some of the things that will definitely bring me back on our next vacation are the beautiful beach, the swimming pool, and the wonderful view from the balcony. I took a picture almost every time I used the elevator because the view is just beautiful! The first time we ate at the restaurant, we really enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, this last time I was disappointed. I tried several different dishes, but none of them felt like they were made with the same care as before. We also had breakfast included, and I would describe it as basic at best. But here’s the good part! My husband and I love exploring new places and trying different foods, so driving around and discovering other restaurants was actually a lot of fun for us. I will definitely come back to enjoy the beautiful beaches, relax by the swimming pool, and spend quality time on the balcony while enjoying the beautiful view. Sometimes, it’s the little things that make a vacation special, and this place definitely has enough good things to keep us coming back! ❤️

Love the stay. Minor blip when power was lost due too storm but overall it was very nice. We will definitely be staying there again

CONS: Shower: It consistently took 5 minutes to get hot water (turned all the way to high) to flow for a shower. Beds: Mattresses were very firm and my wife and I suffered from shoulder/back pains because of this. Safe for storing valuables: There was no safe. Pool: Used treated recycled water which may result in health issues. Hotel drop-off entry way: There was no covered drop-off entry way. If it was raining, you either had to wait to unload or get wet (you, your family and gear). First floor was 12-15 indoor parking spaces (elevator labeled 'P'), access to elevator and pool access behind the hotel. Parking: The indoor parking was $20 a night. I don't know if staff ever checked to see if nonpaying guests were using the paid spaces. If so, this would be a problem. Outside parking spaces were free and an approved parking slip was given to guests for dashboard placement. PROS Breakfasts: Breakfasts were free and the food and selection was great. Staff? The staff was friendly and helpful. Pool? The lazy river was pleasant and relaxing. SO ... My wife and I will absolutely NOT return to this hotel for a vacation. It has too many issues. The Holiday Inn Resort next door is much better and also has a lazy river pool.

Convenience, location rooms are nice, friendly staff The lighting by the pool and hot tub is terrible. It's very dangerous for children much less older people that needs to be changed and upgraded.
