The only thing lacking from this room was it was small and not big enough to really have a king-size bed installed there, very comfortably. The bed was so far against one wall that we couldn’t really walk past it very easily. Other than that, the hotel, the staff, and the grounds were beautiful.

A very centrally located dwntown property with close access to the sights, bars, restuarants and the metro. Great rooms with ample space and wonderful views. I would return in the future.

If youre planning to go to Moda center, this would be the spot.

Loved the hotel and its proximity to the Moda Center. Room was modern and clean. We did not love the breakfast options at the restaurant.

The location was nice, and the rooms and hotel were clean. The Marketplace was very nice, and the staff in there were great every time. The bar was nice too. BUT there were two glaring issues that stand out and will prevent us from returning. First, the hotel room bathroom doors are MISSING! No bathroom door, just an open area, where the toilet has a glass see thru door that doesn't provide any privacy and the shower, when you step out you have no privacy to dry off and get dressed! This is very awkward for families and colleagues. We had to take turns and leave the room until someone was done showering. This was very inconvenient. Coming back in the door we had to make sure they were dressed, since there was no privacy. The hotel should AT THE VERY LEAST put up a curtain! Very poor design. The other issue we encountered was parking. The garage was not attached, it was a block away but difficult to find. We had to drive around the block a few times (in traffic which took 15 minutes) to find it. The garage was almost completely full when we pulled in and we heard other guests say they could not find parking at all, yet they paid for parking all weekend. They have a first come first serve, so if you have to leave for any reason, you have a good chance of not getting a spot. This is very bad being in downtown Portland and the price of parking being expensive as it is. So the missing bathroom doors for privacy and the parking issue have us unlikely to return.

Close to what we were doing No parking, was full had to park aways away, little handicapped

Parking and arriving is a cluster! Narrow street so getting in with cars headed both ways was bad enough, but once we got in we were told that the parking you have to pay for was completely full including valet. They do not make sure they have enough parking available for guests checking in. We had to park about a half mile away and then walk with all of our luggage. The front desk was less than helpful and we were told by management that it is what it is and there was nothing they could do for us. So you pay for your hotel which does not include the parking that is an additional charge but it is not a guarantee it will be available. As well as they charge a “destination fee” so an additional charge outside of the room taxes and fees. Charging for parking is one thing but at the very least they need to make sure they have parking available for there actual guests and not use it as public parking!

Perfect place for a night to catch a show.

It was very clean and modern and the room was small but nice. The staff were rude when I first tried to check in. I only had cash with me and I had to pay an undisclosed $75 incidentals fee before checking in. Also the parking garage and valet were full so I had to park 1/4 mile away and carry my bags back to the hotel. I left and went to the show I had come to Portland to see. While at the show I used a reverse ATM to convert my cash to a card and got checked into my hotel at 11:30. Thankfully their garage was open at that w. Then they charged me $35 for less than 12 hours of parking.

We love the Hyatt for its great location next to the convention center and Moda. The atmosphere always feels very classy. The rooms are nice, love the night lights that come on under the bed. I love that the bar is open late to order food. We ordered after our concert at close to closing, and the service was great and the food was delicious!! Parking is also very easy. The pull out bed wasn't clean. The mattress cover had crumbs and a big stain. The bedding set for it also wasn't complete and possibly used. We called down to the office and they sent us a new bedding set right away. That was really the only hitch in our stay.
