Beach Haven - Near Pacific Beach Park

Staff was very accommodating & gave us great recommendations. Rooms were super cute & comfortable. Nothing 10/10.

Great place to stay very close to the beach loved it

The location is great! The hot tub/pool is only open until 9 pm instead of the standard 10 pm - why?. The towels are terrible! Very rough as if they've never heard of fabric softener. They do not have access to local channels, but don't bother telling you that before booking your reservation nor during your stay.

Decent hotel. Felt safe. In a good location. Had some issues with the AC but got it fixed. Definitely run down.

the rooms were clean and the staff was excellent it is only a block away from the ocean and lots of places to eat nearby I would stay there again

Location was great. One block from the beach in PB! The room and bathroom were pretty run down, peeling paint, very tired looking. Felt like I paid a lot for a room comparable to a Motel 6 badly in need of a renovation.

However the staff here are excellent. All very kind and helpful! We still enjoyed our stay regardless of the issues we experienced.

The location is perfect - the rooms need some TLC - the walls need some cleaning up and the blinds need a good clean. The carpet is also a bit off-putting since it is much easier to keep vinyl (or other) flooring clean.The noise level also through the ceiling and walls could be an issue if you have loud neighbours above or below - very noticeable. They are were very lovely to help answer questions and they do provide beach towels and chairs which comes in very handy.

Great location, clean rooms

The location to the beach and the outdoor pool. Air conditioning did not reach very well to the bedroom. However, it was unseasonably warm and was the absolute hottest time of the year when we stayed.

It was a great location!

Our stay at the Beach Haven was less than ideal. We had several issues while staying. Half of the kitchenette lost power so we were unable to store food or use the microwave. Then our kitchenette sink clogged with a broken garbage disposal and the TV cable went out. The ceiling fan above the bed was loose and was swinging around and making noise all night . We had lots of mishaps and I was only offered 3 free days of parking which was $30.00. The only room they could move us too had no air conditioning and San Diego was almost 90 degrees during our stay. I would not recommend this place and will not be back. Needs major repairs to the room we stayed in.

Had a very nice stay

Clean and comfortable. Great location. Pool was great. So close to the beach and shops Lack of microwave or coffee machine in the room was the only downfall
