The Inn at Union Square was fantastic! Perfect location in downtown, BART and trolly access all a short walk away. Great location for theater, shopping and dinning! Staff was helpful and kind. Shout out to Antonio for check in!!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Inn at Union Square! The location is fantastic, just steps away from Union Square and within easy reach of many of San Francisco’s main attractions. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we especially appreciated having a ceiling fan in the room, which was a really nice touch. A very special shout-out and a huge high five to Fiel at the front desk, who was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and attentive. He really went above and beyond to make our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting San Francisco!

Room was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned daily and coffee available both in the room and on floor 2 during morning hours. Air con worked but was a touch weak as I like a cool room.

Thank you, Antonio for your assistance during check-in, you were very helpful. Enjoyed the upgrade to the room, would stay again on my next visit.

Very Accommodating when needed directions or fans

Great location and clean room No A/C, very dated

We had a great experience here from the time we checked into the time we checked out. The staff was very friendly and helpful and efficient. We love the atmosphere of the hotel. The room is very comfortable, and the quality of the sheets covers and towels were amazing. The rooms were extremely clean and up-to-date while still keeping the charm of the hotel. Highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel has character! The historical property with recently renovated rooms is very comfortable and feels like it has a soul, as opposed to a big chain hotel. Very clean throughout, and the rooms are gorgeous. Antonio at the front desk started our stay off with smiles by upgrading one of our rooms. The staff was helpful with deliveries we had on the first day, which was a huge relief. The hotel is just a half block off Union Square and is surrounded by restaurants and bars in each direction. This property has neither, but we didn't miss it since they were steps away. There's a parking garage in the same block for about $40/night. Elevator and hallways are narrow - to keep in mind for accessibility - but otherwise a very comfortable spot we wouldn't hesitate to book again!

Great place ! Only thing parking is down the street not attached to the hotel

This is a nice boutique hotel located just off Union Square (and across the street from the St. Francis). The front desk staff were delightful and the cleaning staff were thorough and timely. There are a few signs of wear & tear around the property, and at one point the (only) elevator was out of service for several hours, but I think this is to be expected in an older SF hotel. I would gladly stay here again.

I upgraded to the suite and the space was incredibly spacious, clean, and the eight shower heads were amazing!

Pleasant stay, clean property, quiet, great location...

Overall good place. It is old and has character. You should be prepared for elevator to not work and you are on 6th floor. My room was very spacious but lacked any view.

A charming older hotel with refurbished rooms steps from Union Square. The room was spacious and well appointed by SF standards. The modern bathroom had a great shower with excellent towels and places to stow your toiletry kit below the sink. Fiel checked us in and was very helpful, offering to send up a portable AC unit and getting us help to unlock the safe. Maria was also helpful. The one downside is the in-room safe. It didn't work properly. It would lock after you punched in one number of what was supposed to be a 4-digit code. We wanted to use the safe but didn't because we were concerned we wouldn't be able to get our items back out without assistance. Other than that is was a great stay and we'd stay here again.

great price, big room - ask for the AC unit though, they bring it to your room! great staff, would stay again

My wife and I were extremely satisfied with our clean and neat room. The staff was very helpful and checked us in quickly. Antonio and Liel were perfect hosts and made sure we had the “right room” for our stay. They’re a very good and efficient service team. Also great location close to every thing, especially the cable cars; shopping and the wonderful Union Square. Macys and Ross are right there.

Helpful staff but we had an issue with our initial room stay. They informed us of a room but there was already a guest staying in that unit and rebooked our room to another one instead. Had some issues with the room key not working as well, it was not correctly logged after the room mishap. Other than this, the place was clean and staff were very helpful.
