The hotel was great; very clean, nice amenities, easy check in, and friendly staff. The room was comfortable, spacious, and had everything I needed for my work trip. The proximity to the conference center, shopping, dining, and sightseeing was great. I had one negative issue, and unfortunately, it was a significant enough to prevent my return. The hotel has posted quiet hours beginning at 10pm. However, the bar serves until midnight. The first night wasn't terrible, just the occasional loud bursts of laughter or raised voices. For the remainder of my stay, the bar played football games until last call. The noise of the game and the loud patrons echoed throughout the atrium, (which all balconies overlook) and could be clearly heard in my room. When I called the desk to inquire about why the noise was permitted to continue beyond the quiet hour, I was informed that there was nothing that could be done, as long as the bar was open. The man was very kind and polite, but it was clear that the concern was out of his hands. Needless to say, I did not sleep well and was exhausted by the end of my trip. Traveler beware - quiet hour may begin much later than advertised.

The hotel is nice and situated in walking distance to the downtown/historic area (15 min). The staff were professional and helpful. The room was large and clean. There are areas that show wear, but overall it’s well kept. I gave 4 stars because I was in a room with a balcony into the atrium, which seems really nice until it’s midnight and the noise is carrying all the way up thanks to the acoustics. (The manager offered to move me, but I was leaving the next day.) I would recommend an outside room for that reason. I would stay here again in an outside room. I had dinner the first night in the restaurant. The service was slow and the portions are very small considering what you pay. For example, I ordered a house dinner salad and did a chicken upcharge. I got 6 small slices of egg (maybe half an egg) and half a chicken breast. There was lots of romaine, but the other parts of the salad were scant.

The views Cleanliness Service No complaints Besides the rude neighbors beside us slamming doors and partying half the night

JA the desk assistant was outstanding!!!
-
The view The bathroom light had a hissing and high pitched wining sound that maintenance could not fix. The elevator at night and in the morning smelled like urine.
-
Excellent location within easy walking distance of the river, shops, and restaurants. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the hotel was spotless. All of that made for a truly enjoyable stay.

Great location. Very clean and staff was very nice. Breakfast included with room.

The cleanliness was top-notch. The staff was professional and friendly. The location is perfect. You have to pay for on-site parking as a hotel guest.

Bed was comfy, lay out was nice No microwave in the bedroom is crazy for a $385 hotel room. Also, $385 for the hotel and no breakfast is insane. I’ve paid half the price for a hotel and had a great breakfast that I didn’t have to pay $30 for. Also having to pay $45 for parking when you can park nowhere is ridiculous.

A very quiet, beautiful place tuck in the other end of the river walk, very convenient if you want to just kick back and relax. The friendliest and most helpful staff I’ve ever encountered in all the hotels I’ve stayed. Excellent customer service!

The Staff was Second to None... Great experience Overall!

We loved the hotel's location right on the riverfront, which was definitely the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, our room overlooked the pool instead of the river, which was a bit disappointing. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, but it could use some updating. The mattress was noticeably worn and lumpy, and the bathroom sink was chipped in several places. Because of the rainy weather, we spent some time at the bar and really enjoyed the atmosphere and friendly conversation there. However, the biggest drawback was the parking fee. Charging $45 per night for parking seemed excessive, especially considering there was plenty of covered and open parking available for guests. Overall, the location and bar experience were enjoyable, but the condition of the room and high parking cost left room for improvement.

My stay at the Marriott was excellent. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The location was superb. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
-
The view was very nice! I didn’t like that I had to pay to park. And I spent a lot of money on the room!
-
Amazing location and unique hotel. Parking was a bit much. 45 which we didn't expect.

Pros: Wonderful, friendly, helpful staff -- front desk, bartenders, barista, housekeeping, etc.; large, clean room; great location/walkable Cons: A bit pricey for what you get. I know it's a great location but the property is dated and the amenities are pretty basic. My room overlooked the atrium so there was no natural light and you could hear noises from the lobby/restaurant, which I did not like. Also they charge for internet access. I didn't realize that so they refunded the charge but it's odd that any hotel would charge for wi-fi these days. Not a bad place at all, just think it wasn't worth the cost.

The please was very nice , what I didn’t know was I would have to pay 45.00 for parking!! Wow that highway robbery.
