Very friendly staff and very clean premises and room. However, there was no refrigerator and no comfortable seating in the room. There should be a more broad menu at the rooftop café., But the view and food were great.

My Review of the Thompson Savannah Hotel The location of the Thompson Savannah was perfect, right on the river! River Street was approximately a 10-minute walk, and Jefferson Street was about 20 minutes away. The location was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. Gabriel, who assisted us with check-in, was very professional and welcoming. Unfortunately, there were several disappointments. There was microwave and when asked one was brought the room which was weird. Happy hour was available until 6 p.m., but the selection was not very appealing. One bartender, identifiable by his twisted beard, was personable at first, but his response when I asked for service made me feel as though I was bothering him. I chose to request service from the other bartender, who was very pleasant and accommodating. The food selection was also underwhelming, which led us to explore dining options outside the hotel. Additionally, the hallway on the eighth floor smelled like dogs throughout our entire stay. This was unpleasant and definitely took away from the overall hotel experience. Because of the rainy weather, we did not get to enjoy the pool. The hotel offered car service within a three-mile radius, but the wait was consistently so long that walking was often quicker. The biggest disappointment, however, was the unexpected bill at checkout. We had paid for our stay in full in advance and were surprised to receive an additional charge of over $108.

Very clean. Love the marble bathroom and the shower was awesome. TV was 55 inch. Great the View and the riverfront great at night. Far away from the riverfront noise. if you have the coffee maker, the lamp and the TV on the e electricity goes off only negative

Excelllent !!!! Perfection

This is a very nice hotel. The staff is friendly and very helpful. If possible get the river view room. The amenities was the great, the hotel comes with a house car that takes you downtown about a 3 mile radius and they have bike you can use. Therooftop bar view was amazing especially for the sunset over downtown Savannah

Everything at the Thompson Savannah was excellent! We did have to ask for a coffee maker and pods to be delivered to our room, whereas these are usually already in the rooms, based upon our previous experience at this hotel. The only other minor complaint is that our room was not serviced after the first night until 3 PM or so the next day. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

My stay at the Thompson was top-tier! The staff was very friendly. The property is close by and walking distance to local restaurants and shops. I cannot wait to go back.

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return! The hotel is beautiful, clean, modern, and very comfortable, with a gorgeous view. We traveled with our dog and really appreciated that pets stay for free. The bathrobes were a nice touch, and because of my Expedia status, I also received a $26 hotel credit. The hotel is a little outside Savannah’s historic district, but the surrounding area is beautiful, clean, and new. We especially loved the complimentary car service that took us to dinner and picked us up afterward—such a thoughtful and convenient amenity! One small suggestion for an otherwise lovely room: the shower has only a fixed overhead showerhead, so it can be a little tricky to shower without getting your hair wet. A handheld shower wand would be a wonderful addition, or even simply providing a shower cap would be a thoughtful touch. Overall, an excellent stay. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it!

Great location with easy access to anywhere in Fredericksburg! (Right next to Wegman's- which was nice!)_. Suitable amenities for a travelling family with kids, nice breakfast, great staff at the reception- very curtious and professional. All good!

I was charged & never stayed at the hotel. I requested a refund but was denied. This is completely unacceptable being a member.
