Hotel Ballard

Not full handicap parking on site. My full size vehicle was too tall. Was able to find street parking around the corner. I couldn’t shut down the in room HVAC. The heat/ac was off but the fan continued to run all night sounding like running water. Kept waking up from the noise. I couldn’t get the desk lamp to work. For the cost, I didnt expect issues but it was for only one night. It was just close to the venue and wanted to feel safer than other choices.

Really loved it! Beautiful spacious room, lovely balcony with views of Ballard. Wish I had time to use the athletic center next door.

Great relaxing location to spend the mornings and evenings. A nice respite from the the hustle and bustle of the city. Definitely would return again. Ballard reminds us of small New England town. Hotel was very comfortable, well appointed with a great staff. Shout out to Michael! There are plenty of cafes and restaurants in the immediate area.

Great location. Beautiful hotel. We were put on a floor where there was a very large wedding. It was quite noisy. We could not enjoy our outdoor area. someone threw up right outside of our door from the wedding party. I spoke to the front desk. They said they would pass it on to the manager in the morning who could do something about it because they couldn’t. I went to speak to that person and they told me they passed my message along to their manager because they couldn’t do anything about it and if that person was going to help in anyway, I would hear back from them. For $650 a night this is absolutely unacceptable customer service. You might expect this from a motel six but not an exceedingly high-end hotel that was a splurge for me and my child. Very disappointed in the customer service and response. No one even bothered to say they were very sorry that this happened.That is a simple thing to do.

The room was beautiful and clean. The amenities with the attached gym were fantastic. The parking was convenient. Nice area with a lot of walkable restaurants and bars. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed at the hotel because it was close to the location of a wedding we were attending. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants, bars and boutiques. Occasionally noisy, it was definitely in the center of lots of fun. The hotel had no bar of its own. Guests are invited to use the bar of a large restaurant next door, but they shut down at 9:30 PM and are closed on Sunday and Monday I believe.

We loved the convenient location to downtown Ballard. Lots of places to eat and walk to. We did have a car and utilized the parking garage. It the parking garage was better lit that would have been ideal. The lights are motion sensitive but it is pitch dark in the garage until you are literally already in the spot that you need lighting for. Had I been traveling by myself as a single woman I would have been very hesitant to use the garage for safety reasons.

Loved the location and the workout facility was hard to beat! We could walk to everything. Bed was super comfortable. Loved the split room. Fifth floor was really great. The floor tile in the shower needed a good scrubbing and so did the carpet! Also, the temperature of the water while showering kept going up and down - not scalding or freezing, just a bit annoying and archaic, but I suppose normal for an historic hotel.

Location is perfect and quality is incredible. The bathroom is so nice, and the bed is the most comfortable. We really enjoy staying here when we go to shows at the Tractor Tavern.

Hotel Ballard is charming and luxurious. We used the pool and had dinner nearby - it was a great stay!
