It was a classy hotel.

Excellent experience all around!

Great location, restaurant vouchers were great and the staff was delightful. For a dog friendly hotel i was surprised at the lack of amenities for dogs. Our room had no dog bowls or dog beds and the outdoor dog area is a 4x6 patch of ground covered in woodchips at the end of the block on a very busy street. I found it insane that I paid $600 for x2 nights and was expected to pay for valet parking $62 a day - no thank you. Very inconvenient having to park far away, but glad I saved $ on parking.

The hotel seemed under staffed. First day maid service didn't come until 6pm, we were already back in the room. They did not seem to recognize our Expedia reservation, but gave us breakfast anyway because of our status, but not because I paid for it. Also, had a bottle of wine that was supposed to be included but was never mentioned. Staff was very friendly.

Great decor. Very courteous and well trained staff. Decent menu. Great breakfast service. Room was small. View was not good. 3 doors to the things in the refrigerator. Pricey.

Lovely staff - especially at breakfast. Also great breakfast. Cleaning staff were doing amazing job every day. They left the room spotless! The gym is small but good and at 5-6am there was no one. The location is awful. Didn’t feel safe walking in the neighbourhood alone at all - lots of homeless people around. No noise insulation on the windows - this was terrible. Noisy fridge which I asked to turn off during my stay. Toilet was broken but fixed relatively quickly. The beds are awful - too soft and so are the pillows. But this point is probably personal - I’m sure there are people who like soft beds. I just expect that hotels tailor at least to the most which would be medium. I usually sleep on extra firm so this was a struggle for me. Overall this hotel doesn’t deserve 4 stars. It’s 2.5, in my view, and getting to 3 stars would be a stretch. Super disappointed - wouldn’t stay there again.

Location to the sea

location Our room had a mechanical buzzing noise. It woke me up around 2:30am and I thought it was a fire alarm going off in the hallway. Since the "alarm" wasn't in the room, we turned on white noise to try & drown it out. The noise was coming from the vent.

It’s a good location, but an older building. It didn’t feel as luxurious other Kimptons I’ve stayed at. The rooms seemed a little small too.

Amazing view from corner unit on 5th floor with an easy walk to Pike Place Market. Stayed at hotel after special event hosted in basement. Did not have time to enjoy amenities but was a great location.

Close location to Piers for those continuing their travels by sea

Nice area. Beautiful hotel. Really pleasant and helpful staff

Love the location! Easy walking distance to public market and other local attractions. Very friendly staff. Excellent food and service in their restaurant. The air conditioning wasn’t working in our room when we arrived. They sent a technician up to fix it. The shower dripped, so it was annoying when trying to sleep. Fortunately, they provided ear plugs which helped.
