Great for kiddos! Rooms are clean and there is a fantastic amusement park attached for even little kids. The elevators can get a bit backed up and a tad difficult to walk around with stroller. We had an awesome trip! The light show is cool!!

There is so much to do here you don’t even have to leave the property! So many fun things for the family. We loved the light shows. The front desk staff were all friendly, Reggie was exceptionally helpful with our booking. All of the staff were very friendly

The Union Station building itself is beautiful, and the historic architecture is impressive. However, most of the beauty and luxury are found in the public areas that anyone can walk in and enjoy for free. Unfortunately, that same level of quality does not carry over into the actual hotel accommodations. The biggest disappointment was how little the actual hotel experience matched the price. For over $400 a night, I expected the luxury of Union Station to extend beyond the beautiful lobby and public spaces. The glamour is in the areas that anyone can visit for free. As a paying hotel guest, that same attention to detail and quality should carry over into the rooms. Instead, you’re paying luxury hotel prices only to walk into a room that feels like a mediocre motel at best. The experience was made even worse by the customer service. At checkout, the front desk asked how our stay was, and when I expressed my disappointment, the response was simply, “Okay, have a nice day.” No apology, no concern, and no attempt to make things right. We were on a family road trip, and I genuinely regret spending one of our nights and over $400 at this property. I’ve stayed in much less expensive hotels that offered nicer accommodations and significantly better service. The beautiful building may draw people in, but the actual hotel experience certainly doesn’t justify the price.

The hotel was beautiful, the bed very comfortable and the staff had excellent service! Our phone wasn’t working. We tried calling the front desk from our cell phone but no one answered. We ended up having to go downstairs to get a repair man. They said the problem was in the wall and didn’t fix the phone. They also charged us for an upgrade without giving us the upgrade (was supposed to be a room with a view of the fountain).

hotel costs way more than you get. Average room, nothing special. Costs were ridiculous, and charged for every single little thing. disappointing.

Loved the property - will likely stay again. We booked through Exprdia at a given rate. At check-in we were given a complimentary upgrade to a historic room. We later realized we were charged for the upgraded room. A call to the front desk quickly resulted in a credit back to us. Overall, we'd were very happy with our stay.

parking was awful , need covered parking late-night food (chicken) was very bland
-
Staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast was good. Recommend ordering off the menu vs the buffett. Our waitress was wonderful. The fire and light show just wasn't going the weekend we were there

It is a beautiful location with lots of things to do. Many food options. My only complaint is that twice while visiting, there were big weddings that makes the coffee shop close early and the entire grand hall off limits and a bit of late nite noise. Seems hard to avoid them. Otherwise the place is great.

If you enjoy wandering in circles, this is the place for you. Seriously lacking in signage, nonsensical pathways and constant closures of walkways and entrances abound. Check in was delayed for almost 45 minutes without any prior notice that the normal time would not work. There are no signs on the inside to tell you what exits lead to what streets. If you are on 2, you will have the joy of needing to take an elevator one floor up or down constantly, with hundreds of others doing the same. They could easily allow stairs and figure out security. The pool was only open when we arrived and due to late check in we couldn’t go before dinner and it was then closed the rest of the weekend for who knows what reason. Valet was moved to another entrance on Sunday and when you called valet they just told you the street (which you couldn’t figure out from inside) and the front desk was equally unhelpful. I ended up lugging bags for 2 kids and myself and having a low blood sugar attack en route because the keys you would need to backtrack from a wrong way were left in the room at check out and we had to walk almost all the way around the building with 100 pounds plus of things. The one star goes to the lovely manager, Crystal, who tried to make the best of a bad situation at check in. Hilton needs to help their staff with this place. Dirty room as well in terms of floors and vents.

People working at hotel excellent, friendly. There were a number of issues in the room and they wanted to fix them. Took a lot of time. Loved the light show in the Grand Hall. Beauty of the station itself was spectacular. Bathroom very tired. Dirt on light switch, sink stopper dirty/corroded, overflow drain holes in sink filthy stain in toilet, spilled liquid on phone keypad, room was 58’F. Hotel staff tried to remedy. Towels on floor in hall where ice machine should be.

I love how the rooms are so near the aquarium and the wheel the place is very clean and all the staff are super friendly None maybe the parking situation but they give you free pass

Loved the light show in the beautiful lobby. Liked the environment around the hotel. The hotel itself is a lot of fun and beautiful. It was cold in the lobby, you just need to remember to take a sweater.

I’ll start with the cons. There were flies in my room, hair as well as blood and hair in the bathroom of my sisters room, and the rooms are arranged in a way that everyone can see into everyone’s room. Pros; EVERYTHING ELSE! the staff is amazing helpful and attentive. The drinks and food at hotel delicious. The greatest bonus being the aquarium, rope course, the wheel, a huge koi pond and 3 restaurants right behind it! My favorite favorite part is the historic background of the hotel. Being a former train station, there were many displays and plaques boosting about the glory days of the station. The architecture alone was worth the stay. Definitely recommend staying here however I’d spring for the higher priced room options were I to return

The hotel was nice, large and convenient to everything
