Comfort Suites Suffolk - Chesapeake

Overall, I had a very good stay and would stay again. I would say that, for basically every category, it would have been excellent except for some detail, most of which could be improved fairly easily. My room was spacious and very clean, except one night I dropped the tv remote between the bed and nightstand. I reached under the bed to pick it up and my fingers closed around...a kiwi. Quite mushy so had probably been there awhile. Breakfast was very good with a few more options than your typical hotel buffet but they are only open until 9 AM, including on weekends. On Sunday, I arrived for breakfast around 8:40 and it was mobbed- no place to sit, lines for food, and they ran out of items repeatedly. The kitchen staff was great and replenished everything quickly but this all could be fixed easily by doing what most hotels do and extending breakfast by an hour on weekends. The main problem for me altogether was the wifi. First of all, guests have to jump through some hoops to connect to wifi in the first place. It was not difficult but definitely more involved than any other place I've stayed. And I really wouldn't have minded except that the wifi kicked me off every time I closed my laptop, left the hotel and returned, or went more than 30 minutes or so without using it. I had to reconnect at least half a dozen times per day. They do have a business center, which I did not use because the meetings I had required privacy. The wifi in the business center might be better.

Everything was fine. No complaints.

I really enjoyed my stay and was able to relax.

Clean room

Overall nice stay. Breakfast was pretty good and the room was clean. Fridge freezer was built up with ice and the fridge was barely cold. Weird

Our family stayed Comfort Suites because the other hotels in the area were so expensive. The photos looked great, but when we arrived the lobby smelled horrible. Apparently, they had a celebration where fish and seafood were cooked, but this made the lobby area of the hotel smell bad as guest were arriving. At times, they ran out of clean towels. Also, the wifi was weird and gave errors when signing in. Although we saved money, our family agreed that we would not be staying at the Comfort Suites anymore. It is an older hotel and have not been updated in some time.

Room smelled like sweat. laundry mat was dirty.pool was dirty towels were thrown all over floor dirty bandaid with blood was on the table. Do better!

Lighting in the pool area. The room had a lot of deficiencies: 1. Metal safe falling over. 2. Hair dryer powered off while in use. 3. Shelf in refrigerator crooked. Unable to put food in there without falling out. 4. Bathroom fan running out.

Breakfast ended to early started at 6 ended at 9am promtly.elevator floor was wet.

It was a good time for us. I think the staff could do better with the towel situation.

None of the ice machines worked, coffee maker in room was broke

Everything was good, I have no complaints. It was sufficient for the purposing I was using it for.
