Bad

Location and balcony Extremely dirty and run down. Odd shaped rooms that made the bathroom awkward to use (the toilet was sideways cause the room was so small) Staff made you feel very unwelcome.

Exceptional

The staff was very nice and helpful. The room had everything you could need and the view was perfect! No complaints!

The heater in the room blew up while my family was sleeping. They now have night terrors because they thought they were being bombed. The hotel did absolutely nothing but unplugged it.

I have to asked for new sheets, put it on by myself because my bed were full of sand from the last guest. I was left with a dirty bathroom and towels. Paid $300 for 1 night. Sunrise is beautiful at least.

Location of everything The bathroom was to small the toilet was too short and twisted sideways no room for movement

The beach view was amazing. My first room wasn't even clean. Had to get another room. Elevator had terrible odor and seemed to be on its last leg.

Location is great and the first staff member I met was nice. Extremely unclean and I had to deal with marijuana smoke from another guest. Everything was filthy, so i had to do more than the regular clean up. Shower had lots of mildew.

I loved everything

Having more time to clean the place. We actually had someone's shirt and hat in our place when we checked in ( just hanging in the closet)

Disappointing

The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the Virginia Beach oceanfront boardwalk where you are steps away from everything, and the staff members were also very nice and welcoming during our stay. Unfortunately, the room itself was a complete disaster, and we cannot give it more than two stars due to severe cleanliness and functional issues. There were noticeable patches of black mold growing on the ceiling and in the corners of the rooms. Furthermore, the bedding was completely unacceptable; the sheets were visibly soiled, and the blanket was outright disgusting. The bathroom layout was another major problem, as the toilet directly faces the bathtub with only a tiny 8-inch gap of legroom, making it incredibly uncomfortable to use. To top it all off, even though we were right on the water, we could barely see the ocean because the sliding glass doors and windows facing the beach were covered in a thick layer of filth.The room amenities were equally disappointing. The bedroom television screen had static lines running through several channels, and there was no channel guide available to see what was playing. The remote control was also extremely frustrating to use because the buttons were completely sticky, forcing you to very carefully press them just to change the channel. If management completely deep-cleans the property and updates the rooms, this could be a gem because of its spot on the strip.
