For some reason everything in the room was crooked. The pictures, the curtains and even the toilet paper holder. The shower had no water pressure and there were bugs in the bathroom. The room was otherwise clean. Overall a good stay but wouldn’t book again.

nothing. the place was disgusting dirty changed our room the next day and made us wait a whole day with no ac and a nasty room they moved us from a suite to a regular room and would not refund the difference in money worst stay ever I'm no longer even using booking because of how bad my experience was.

Walked in from parking lot and smell was terrible. Carpets were very dirty. Very noisy all night. Sheets were very rough with little nubs all over.

It was close to a lot of things and there was a really sweet lady there Saturday and Sunday during the day time that was friendly and helpful. The guy that was there Friday evening had an attitude and then we waited for about 30 minutes for someone to come to the desk this morning. The building itself had a a weird smell that was mixed with the smell of cigarettes and dog. Some things weren’t the cleanest. Night shift front desk guy looked like he could care less to be there and the guy that came in Monday morning wasn’t nowhere to be seen for about 30 minutes to an hour.

Disrepair, a/c didn’t work well, bugs in the bathroom which also wasn’t very clean, staff was minimally helpful

Our 1st room on the 1st floor had a cockroach in the bathroom. David moved us to another room on the 5th floor and it had a beetle on the ceiling. Very disheartening and rather disgusting. If our room had not been non-refundable I would’ve sought other accommodations. The staff was kind, friendly and helpful.

Location is convenient. Our room wasn't ready until 20 minutes after promised. Dirty facility, room not very clean, stains on sheets and pillowcases, floor in bathroom dirty. No hand soap in bathroom, only shampoo and body wash. TV wouldn't work half the time. Very understaffed.

Close to work, and lots to do nearby A lot of people hanging out in the rear parking after hours and the basement (1st level) smelled!

Exceptional

The thing that I appreciate was how the hotel worked with me for a super late arrival. I also appreciated the blackout curtains that allowed me to sleep in. I was awakened by a barking dog but I have dogs and understand. I could have asked for an upper floor but I don’t think it would have made a difference. I’m going to make this my default option for Asheville until there’s an issue.

Staff was great checking me in with my last minute reservation. I asked if I could pay more for a late check out at 2pm and was told it would be free the night before and to call in the morning between 8/9 am. The next morning the room phone stayed busy and was told I could have an extra 30 minutes and that was it. Wasn't going to complain about No soap in bathroom (had shampoo and bodywash), toilet was running so had to flick the flapper down. No iron. Didnt need these things but was annoyed enough to mention it after expecting to check out at 2.

Getting out of there. The room had a smoking smell, wasn’t real bad but it was there.

Dog food scattered around room and cigarette burns in beds. Rooms smelled horrible and had to fight for a refund

Stay away from this hotel!!! Immediately upon arrival I inspected my room. I threw the sheets and comforter back and found several types of hair in both queen beds, along with brownish red stains on both sheets and pillow cases. The shower looked like it had not been cleaned properly, very noticeable black discoloration on the shower floor. The toilet had some thick substance running down the outside of the bowl. The towels were worn and thin. One was so dingy looking, I couldn’t believe I was given this room! Room 311! I politely took my frustrations to the front desk and was asked WHY did I need xtra bedding and was told there will be no one up to change the bedding for me. Ok, cool. I mainly used the back door to avoid the front desk lady. Level 1 seemed to be the “extended stay” guests, maybe an employee or two… it reeked of mold, cigarettes and funk, you would think they were housing animals the way it smelled down there. The walls throughout the staircase had red stains running down and the place was just total TRASH. The wide open crack between the wall and ac unit absolutely let me know this property does not have proper management. This place should be closed down and rebuilt into something better. Total waste of money and should not remain open. Please choose somewhere else. I had to go out and purchase my own bath towels and slippers. Very suspect property. Not to mention the junkies hanging out back sleeping in their cars.

Location and staff were great, only issue was check in was delayed 45 minutes due to cleaning of room. But was a big deal. Delayed check in.

Clean, bug free, no smoke smell, extremely friendly front desk, comfy beds. Not well kept up but if you are just looking for a place to crash it works.
