Hotel Mira Vista

Easy check in and the room was clean and comfortable. I rested very well each night because the bed, pillow, and blankets were so comfy. The staff were friendly and attentive. A few pleasant things that I noticed - the vending machine prices were ressonable $1.75 drinks and around $1.50 for snacks. The other is that they have a Gideon bible in the room which I loved seeing and wish more hotels would keep that tradition. Overall, a lovely stay for a travelers.

Very basic but nice enough for our one night stay. Loved having coffee in the lobby...wish there had been some in our room. Wish there had been body wash and lotion in the room but I came prepared so not a big deal. Great price and decent area.

Clean rooms. Quiet. Easy access off the highway.

It was good. The sheets were nice and soft, the bed nice and hard.

Be careful to stay safe in the hotel. I found a strange man who tried to trick us by using a Chinese book that he pretended to have discarded when we were in the hotel parking lot. I guessed he was a drug addict. But it’s convenient to visit UC Berkeley.

You get what you pay for. Pretty run down property. The front desk is always empty. The old man who manages the place is a rude piece of crap. Id recommend paying more for a better hotel.

I stay there because I was working closely But I curen’t sleep because some of the people tell me that some want stole tools from the car and broke windows. In the parking lot

Great room with friendly staff. Parking was good, room was clean and it was a great price. I plan on staying again.

I liked the location, near Bart station and the ferry station. I liked the coffee and the muffins & danish offered in the lobby in the morning. Shower faucet was not working properly. It looked old. Water pressure was low. With check-in, I did not feel welcomed. I think it was not clean because I found 3 spiders im my bedroom.

I mean, obviously you get what you pay for so take this with a grain of salt. The front desk people were not friendly at all, especially the elder night shift guy. My brother-in-law asked for the WiFi password through the front desk phone because nobody was at the counter and the guy was very irritated and yelled at him. Thick accent, nothing wrong with that, but when someone can’t understand you and asks you to repeat, don’t yell at them. The rooms were ok, but the couches had stains on them in both rooms. The toilet was at an angle in our room because the floor was sloped, and the sheets had stains also. There is coffee and hot water and that’s it in the front. Once again, you get what you pay for and we were looking for cheap, so take this info how you will. The ratings were pretty solid on here so I guess we were expecting something a little cleaner and friendlier. Both of those should come with basic service.

The pictures of the hotel and rooms looked better than they appeared. The rooms were really small and the bathroom had issues.
