Great room and location
-
Very clean, nicely appointed hotel in beautiful Brookline but with quirks that prevent it from getting a 5-star rating. Unsure it's really a 4-star hotel because of the quirks. For example, staff are very friendly but sometimes hard to find. Motion detector lights by our beds can't be turned off and kept going on at 2 in the morning; staff couldn't fix them so we covered them in towels. Yes, really. The dining room is often empty of staff and they hold very loud parties. That said, we enjoyed our credit at the bar with some nice wine, we loved its location, our room with its full size frig was nice (aside from said lighting issues), it's very quiet, and artwork is very pretty.

Faithful hotel

The hotel room was nice overall, had a lot of space to store items and the shower was very nice. The only flaw is the parking is valet only, which I had to wait for service for a while each time I needed to park or retrieve my car. Upon checking out I also noticed that my $300 headphones were missing from my car. Aside from all of that, my stay was very nice.

The front desk staff was nowhere to be found when we first got there & when she did show up she didn’t seem happy to be there for whatever reason! Throughout our stay it seemed they had little staff because it was often hard to find someone like a server in the restaurant or the bartender in the main lobby. The hotel was cute & quaint & conveniently located in an interesting area. I probably won’t stay there again because it unfortunately didn’t impress me. Too bad.

I’m very surprised at the lack of communication between one shift of team members to the next and the staff wasn’t very friendly or helpful. I’m pretty disappointed with the overall service throughout my stay.

Check-in: very fast and easy. Staff: very helpful and easy going. They adapt and make sure you're taken care of. Room: Decent size and very clean. Has everything needed. Shootout to Juan (valet) who was extremely helpful.

Beautiful hotel. As art lovers we enjoyed the beautiful artwork displayed. Modern feel and vibe. We were able to walk to historical areas and restaurants. Thank you!

This clean & quiet hotel is in a very convenient location. It is within a five-minute walk of the Green Line subway station. There are supermarket and many restaurants nearby. We stayed for three nights and were very satisfied. Recommended!

The location is very close to a Trader Jo’s and many restaurants. The hotel staff was amazing and willing to help with any needs. We forgot a toothbrush and they ran it up to us right away. The room had 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa, perfect for 3 adults and a teenager. It also had a refrigerator and freezer, stovetop, Nespresso machine and microwave

Super helpful staff, impeccably clean room, super comfortable accommodations.

Our room was comfortable. However, the first issue was that the door did not lock. The front desk rectified the problem (which clearly was an on going issue) but it cost us an expensive Uber ride to meet a dinner reservation commitment. The lobby bar was horrible. The "bartender" did not know red from white wine. Nor was she able to charge the drinks to our room. The breakfast staff was worse. They were slow and disorganized at a business hotel. The food was mediocre and again they could not manage to charge our room. The only bright spot was the front desk woman at check out. She was helpful.

Clean, great location and very comfortable beds

Amazing hotel. Great staff. Clean. Shower was great. Only downside was I received a food credit but the kitchen was short staffed and couldn’t do room service. But other than that everything was amazing.

Excellent hotel to stay near downtown. Rooms are clean and spacious, beds are very comfortable and they have great service people. Didn't try the local.restaurant

Beautiful hotel, incredibly nice staff, amazing stay. Thank you for everything!

Great location. Rooms were clean and well designed.

The hotel is in a great location. The room I stayed in was large and well-equipped with a kitchenette. The only downside was the motion lights around the base of the beds. These turned on and off with the slightest of movements - constantly! All night long. It was madness. The front desk said they are working on fixing this issue. They offered to come up and put tape over the lights.
