The Glidden House

Staff were friendly and very helpful, especially regarding local places I wanted to go. Patricia helped me will maps and directions and even offered advice on using my smart phone. Housekeeping staff were friendly and thorough, since the room was very clean, and the air conditioning unit was well-maintained and quiet so that I was able to have a good night's sleep, which is often not the case for me.

Place was great

Glidden House is beautiful and well located to several museums and Little Italy. You can easily walk to the Botanical Gardens, the Cleveland Museum of Art, and the Natural History Museum. Little Italy is .6 miles away, so walkable for most persons. The breakfast was scrambled eggs, sausage, homefries, pastries, fruit, oatmeal, coffee and orange juice. Our room was clean and roomy. A bench ran along one side which was handy for suitcases and totes. The sink had a large counter. The shower worked well and the shampoo and conditioner as very nice.

Conveniently located to Case campus. Very classic old school. Room air temps are hard to regulate. Our room was so humid that the bathroom mirrors were fogged up without even using showers. Breakfast was pretty good. We were surprised that Parking is an extra $15 fee per night. Front desk friendly.

The property was excellent and well restored. Staff gave excellent dinning recommendations. We choose the French resturant down the alley. Great choice. We will definetly stay again when in Cleveland. Easy parking, safe walkable area.

This is the 1st hotel I have stayed in where the heating/air conditioning system did not sound like a jet taking off. A formal home that has beautiful details. Nice lounge/bar area. Great breakfast.

The property is very well managed. And the historic nature of the property is well preserved and maintained. Breakfast was good - would have preferred hot milk for my coffee. Staff is very cooperative and friendly. Would love to visit for a longer time in my next visit.

What a nice surprise! Last minute booking on the way through Cleveland. What a beautiful area and lovely hotel. Recommend highly for the location, the history, the amenities and the charm!

Amazing. So charming and so close to walk to everything if visiting a college student. Breakfast included too and 24-7 coffee tea and water!

Excellent Place to stay had a great time

Fabulous location by the art museum. Good parking. Boutique feel congruent with time period. Sumptuous breakfast. Lawn-mowing at 9 am. Beds will need to be replaced soon.

Going to Cleveland Clinic every year makes this hotel our number 1 in the area. Clean, quiet and free breakfast. Parking is an additional $20 which we feel is a but much since we pay at the Cleveland Clinic too.

An amazing experience in a quality 'non-hotel' setting with all the amenities. Loved the staff who were so very helpful. Delighted by the very well appointed rooms and comfort of the bed. Certainly my first choice.
