Friendly staff, nice communal area and clean rooms.

Conveniently located hotel and for the most part very clean, gorgeous views of the mountains depending on what side your room faces. Unfortunately in our case our room had a smashed bug on the ceiling that we don’t know if it was from the guests before us or the cleaning crew but either way it should have been cleaned up prior to our visit, and we were too tired from traveling to try and deal with room service in our room to clean it before we left. The shower in our room also didn’t seal well, so unfortunately anytime either of us took a shower we had to use multiple towels on the ground to soak up the water that leaked out. The AC/Heat control was also really wonky but don’t know if that was because of the up and down temperatures during our stay. Breakfast was great with rotating food options. Related to food though, there wasn’t anything super close around the area and some of the food delivery was still expensive even with delivery discount codes offered by the hotel, so would recommend picking up food on the way. Staff was great for the most part but at one point when I called to the front office to ask details about the laundry amenities, the person helping admitted she didn’t know/was new and hadn’t been brought up to speed on everything yet - which is fine and everyone starts somewhere but I had to go downstairs and investigate.

Only a single night stay so not able to make use of more of the available amenities. Would definitely stay again my next time in the Springs

The biggest issue during our stay was breakfast. The staff member working was doing her best, but the breakfast area was severely understaffed. Food and utensils repeatedly ran out, and guests were left waiting for items to be replenished. The different breakfast hours on weekdays versus weekends were also confusing. Unfortunately, the food quality was only average, making the overall breakfast experience disappointing.

My stay at the Tru hotel was great. From checking in, the front desk clerk was nice and professional. The housekeeper was nice and helpful when we requested towels. The hotel was clean, comfortable and conveniently located to our destination.

Breakfast was excellent: even though I did not eat one, you could make your own burrito (I have never seen this in a hotel breakfast) in addition to the usual options. The property looks new and it is very clean. Our room was not spacious, but it was OK. The king bed was very comfortable.

Bathroom was dirty with long black hairs in shower, bathroom partially painted with paint tape on wall, floor was dirty because I was wearing new pair of white socks in bathroom. There was paint in bottom of shower and bathroom had moldy smell.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, decent breakfast.

The room was very clean and well-maintained. The lobby was nice with a pool table, bar sitting area & games. Be aware that there are no restaurants nearby to walk to. We ordered two cheeseburgers & fries from the bar which was the specialty of the day. There were six people in the bar & it took over an hour for us to get our order. The hamburger was ok but the fries were completely raw. Not sure they had been cooked more than 2-3 minutes. We didn’t have time for breakfast in the morning but it looked like one of the larger breakfast buffets I’ve seen at these type of hotels.
