Super 8 BY Wyndham Lubbock Airport

Cleanliness, comfort, convenience since it less than 3 miles to the airport.

Brand new, clean and comfy!

Bad odor from the AC unit, had to buy deodorizer to help with the smell.

It was a place to stay. Definitely no frills.

Great value

I was told by a lobby staff that my reservation was cancelled and had to rebook. The hotel is so close to the street and the street noise kept me awake whole night.

Comfortable bed and clean Bathroom door wouldn’t close, otherwise it was a comfortable room

The property was beautiful and well kept. Newly renovated rooms and clean property make this a must stay in Lubbock.

I would have loved to have had a tub Only a shower

Nice clean motel for the money. I cranked the A/C down to 60* and it was great!

.

Good place and cheaper than all similar in this expensive city.

It is a Super 8. I appreciated the air conditioning, clean bed, and well lit parking lot. But I did not care for large stains on the carpet, varying water pressure during my shower, lack of hot water from the sink faucet and stained white towels.

⭐️⭐️ Cheap, But There’s a Reason I understand that Super 8 is a budget hotel, and we weren’t expecting luxury. But even at a budget price, guests should be able to expect a clean, reasonably comfortable room with a door that properly closes. Our exterior door had an approximately 3-4 inch gap underneath it. It was big enough that we were concerned about bugs or even small animals getting into the room. We ended up stuffing a towel under the door for the night. That’s simply unacceptable. The highway noise was unbelievable. We were so close to the road that it sounded like cars and trucks were coming through the room. We also found several dark hairs on the floor, and since both of us have light hair, they definitely weren’t ours. The evening front desk employee was particularly unpleasant. When he asked for my ID, I placed it on the counter directly in front of him. Rather than simply picking it up, he stared at it and waited for me to pick it back up and place it directly into his hand. The whole interaction felt unnecessarily rude and controlling rather than welcoming. Yes, this hotel is inexpensive. But after dealing with the cleanliness, constant highway noise, rude service, and a door with a gap large enough that we had to block it with a towel, the savings simply weren’t worth it. We would not stay here again.

I like that the property had an up to date tv. There was an abundance of light in the room. Everything worked well the shower, the sink, the microwave. The most noticeable thing I disliked was the space under the door when closed. You can hear the noise from cars passing on the road.

Perfect for airport layovers. Friendly staff. Accommodating, clean rooms.

Being given a room next too load men drinking. Did ask to get moved. Didn't feel safe.

Room was clean. Bed comfortable. Staff friendly. Hotel a little outdated.

The toilet door hits the toilet before it can closed. No hand washcloths. The shower head spews water on the tile outside the pan causing a slip hazard. There is no door on the shower. The "breakfast" was a muffin only.

This hotel is new remodeled and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the room was nice. There were large parking spots for trailers so that was helpful. The only downfall was it is right next to the interstate so you hear loud vehicles all night. They provide complimentary ear plugs at check in. Highly recommend grabbing some. It was fine for a quick overnight stay for the night.
