Courtyard by Marriott New Orleans Near the French Quarter

Had a disability room with roll in shower. The room and hotel were very clean. It’s a good location to French Quarter. Just cross Canal Street and you are in the FrencgQuarter. There are good breakfast restaurants on the same block as the hotel. I can’t say enough about how friendly and helpful the entire staff was. They all went above and beyond to do anything for their guests!

Not so good of a stay. I prefer to stay at Courtyard Mariott whenever I travel to different locations. However, this Marriott was below the Marriott standard that I am used to. The location was perfect, everything was in walking distance. I did not get the room I booked. Housekeeping didnt come around until my 3rd day there and that was at 4pm after making a complaint. I requested towels and wash clothes on day 2 after realizing housekeeping only rounds every other day (that should be disclosed on check in). I received towels but the place was out of wash clothes. I stayed 4 nights, first night was no AC. The place needs some updating. The bathroom was not clean. I wont stay at this location again. After this disappointing stay at Courtyard I have decided to not stay at any Courtyard Marriott. I've switch over to Hilton.

Breakfast was amazing and Breakfast ladies were so bubbly, outgoing and friendly. Only issue is we were there for 4 days and despite asking, never had our room cleaned, trash cans overflowed.

Only complain I had trouble with is trying to get my room cleaned after being there for four days. the third day they did come up and clean the room and change the linen, but other than that it was a perfect stay. The staff was wonderful and very helpful

From the check in to check out the hotel staff was amazing, the location was perfect, I could walk to everything,. It was quite and clean. My bank was right up the street. I will definitely be staying at this hotel again. No complaints from me everything was awesome.

If you want to sleep in New Orleans, don't stay at this hotel. It's loud. Everywhere. The A/C is so loud it wakes you up every time it turns on...probably 10 times a night. There is an alarm in the mechanical closets that go off 3 times a night EVERY NIGHT. The windows and doors are so thin ALL the outside noise comes in and keeps you awake whenever someone with a loud radio (and there are a lot) drives by. We asked to move our rooms and were denied even though the room we booked was not the room we were given. Over and 8 hour period where you're trying to sleep, you probably get a good solid 3 or 4. So glad we're home so we can finally get some sleep. I will never stay at this hotel again and will not recommend it to my friends or enemies. House keeping was non-existent. We had to track down the house keeping cart every day for new coffee, toilet paper, soap, fresh towels. Over the 7 days we stayed, our room was replenished only one time even though we asked to have service multiple times throughout our stay.

Can’t beat the location. Every staff member I interacted with was so nice! I did not like that the room was internal with no windows to the outside. That makes it disorienting as you can’t naturally tell what time it is or what the weather is like

Location was great! Easy to get around. Rooms are basic. The little couch was very stained… rooms need some updating. But overall room was clean.

The location was extremely convenient and made it easy to enjoy everything downtown New Orleans had to offer. I was within walking distance of restaurants, stores, and many of the major tourist attractions, which made exploring the city very easy. The front desk staff was also very helpful, welcoming, and accommodating throughout my stay. Overall, the location and customer service made for a great experience.

I love the location. We had issues with our room and had to move rooms late that night. Issues with accessing the rooms.
