It was a clean room, loved the ocean view, easy access to the beach, however we were frightened by continuous pounding on our door late night- early morning, we called to the lobby and they said probably someone playing pranks, and that they would check into it, but we never heard if they did.

Extremely Disappointing Stay — Would Not Recommend Our stay at Paradise Plaza Inn in Ocean City was an incredibly disappointing experience. My fiancé and I encountered bugs and a mouse in our original room. After finding the mouse, we had to pack up and switch rooms around midnight, which was stressful and completely unacceptable. Unfortunately, the second room was just as disappointing in its own way. It was outdated, had multiple issues that needed attention, and the sliding glass door appeared to have damage that looked like someone may have attempted to break in from the outside. On top of that, the shower was missing a safety grab bar. We booked a hotel expecting a clean, properly maintained, and safe place to stay. Instead, we spent our time dealing with pest issues, moving rooms in the middle of the night, and worrying about the condition and security of our accommodations. Things can go wrong at any hotel, but the overall condition of these rooms and the experience we had were unacceptable. Having to relocate because of a mouse only to end up in another room with significant issues made an already frustrating situation even worse. Based on our experience, I would not recommend Paradise Plaza Inn. Guests deserve clean accommodations, basic maintenance, and a room where they can feel safe and comfortable. Unfortunately, that was not what we experienced.

Our room had no lamps on the end tables. The lighting in the room was terrible. It smelled like food when we came to and from our room. There were some stains in the hall way in the carpets. The reason we stayed at this property was due to a music festival Ocean’s calling. The festival was cancelled due to inclement weather. We booked back in March of 2026 Now September 2026. They did not offer anything! We asked for 1 night refund and they would not allow it. 2000. 00 for 4 nights, not even a discount. Some of the roads were flooded. Not exactly happy, not saying it was the hotels fault but they could have refunded 1 night or at least a discount.

Steps to the boardwalk, clean, and staff was so friendly & helpful Only minor inconvenience was not knowing the location of the overflow parking lot. Immediately corrected with assistance from the front desk staff

I'll start with the positives. The staff was very friendly. The room very spacious. Nice location on the boardwalk on 9th. Had a restaurant on site which we didn't try bit it looked good. Air conditioner worked amazing at keeping the room cold. For the negatives, the bed was not very comfortable. The bathroom was very small. The hallway has 0 air conditioning. They need to do a better job at cleaning certain parts of the room. We were supposed to get daily housekeeping and only got 1 cleaning for a 3 night stay. They really need to refresh the rooms as they are quite outdated. Its a dog friendly hotel and with the walls bring thin we g could hear dogs barking at all hours of the day. I personally wouldn't stay again.

Beach access and view were great - directly over looking the boardwalk - balcony was amazing and great to watch people on the boardwalk and beach . No screen door on the sliding door to the balcony . Very very friendly staff and accommodating to being pet friendly . Room was clean - a bit dated and had several flaws. Main door entrance to room stuck and was hard to open at times . Pool was a bit outdated and clean but didn’t feel sanitary. I would say this was an average hotel but I would rate it a tad bit higher as it’s super pet friendly and accommodating to take your fur humans with you on vacation. There are only a few hotels that allow bringing your pets with you so this was a plus . We visited their pub which was cute and quaint for a drink with a discount as a guest .Didn’t eat here as the food was very pricey . Room was quiet . Beds comfy . Has a fridge , microwave , and cupboards sink but not stocked with any dinnerware or silverware just cupboards .Bathroom needs updated and could def use updating and decor in the entire room .Overall , I would stay here again and especially if I was bringing my fur baby . Great location and price was pretty average for the location . Recommend if you are an average person and not looking for a fancy place to stay. Walking to anything on the boardwalk was simple and easy .

Great location right across from the beach and right on the boardwalk.

This was our second time staying at Paradise Plazas Inn. This time we were put in an ocean front room on the 2nd floor. It was lower than we would have liked, but were told at check in that no other ocean front rooms were available, . .Oh well. It ended up that the AC in the room was not functioning. Luckily it was not a hot weekend but the room was extremely stuffy. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.
