Really happy with my stay at the Bower! The rooms are a bit small but they are clean, modern and stocked with luxury, Le Labo toiletries and a Dyson blow dryer. With all the fun things to do in Coronado, we were barely in the room anyway. LOVED the water and pastries in the common areas of each floor and the rooftop bar was wonderful (go for Happy Hour!). The location is also perfect for walking to all the local attractions, bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful, clean . The staff was exemplary.. They made all who entered feel welcomed. Nothing phony. Great location Did not offer a lot of amenities. No shops or restaurants in hotel

Love the design, amenities and rooftop restaurant and bar. However, one morning there were no staff or valet in sight when we needed to leave. Also called the hotel front desk to get ahold of someone and no answer. It took 10-15min fro staff to show up. After that we self parked. Would not come back.

Nice aesthetic. Friendly staff. Clean. Comfortable beds. Need more amenities. Walls paper thin. Small rooms for price.

We chose The Bower for a romantic mini-honeymoon getaway, and it could not have been a more perfect setting for such a special occasion. From the moment we walked in, everything felt warm, welcoming, intimate, and genuinely hospitable. The “Living Room” lounge area immediately sets the tone, it is stylish and beautiful, yet incredibly comfortable and inviting. It feels less like walking into a hotel lobby and more like being welcomed into an elegant home. The customer service was truly impeccable. Every member of the staff made us feel cared for, and the attention to detail throughout our stay made our mini-honeymoon feel even more special. The atmosphere, amenities, accommodations, and overall level of service exceeded our expectations. A very special thank you to Tim, the manager, Dylan, Devin, and Tommy. Each of you contributed to making our stay memorable through your kindness, professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality. For a couple looking for a romantic, intimate getaway, The Bower is truly something special. It gave us the perfect place to slow down, enjoy one another, and celebrate being newly married. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend The Bower to anyone looking for a beautiful, upscale, intimate, and exceptionally welcoming experience in Coronado. Thank you for making our mini-honeymoon so memorable. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful property and excellent amenities

Not cheap, parking is also $65. I can live with price of the room and parking, but to charge $54 resort fee when this hotel is not even close to a resort, is pure price gouging. The hotel can say but that includes wifi (don't need it, got cell service) and we offer beach chairs, but they are not running and setting you up at the beach. A hotel that is truly a "resort" is right accross the street Hotel Del for example. I will stay at the Bower again, but just a one nighter.

Our short stay could not have been better. The amenities and room were excellent and the location was unbelievable. Close to everything, not to mention the views. The staff was so friendly and helpful. See you all soon! We will definitely be returning.

The hotel was clean, the staff was attentive. Wouldn’t stay again due to a few other issues.

Great to have the wagon with beach umbrellas and chairs. Very helpful! Thank you!

Great location, brand new interior and nice extras like Dyson hair dryer and free coffee / pastries. They first put us in room 103, which is right next to the lobby and opposite of the elevator. Even though this is a brand new property, there is no proper noise insulation and you could hear every word that was spoken. Paying $500+ a night for such an experience is unacceptable. When we wanted to switch rooms we had to follow up 5 times between 10 am and 4pm with the staff to finally make a move happen. Our second room was on the 2nd floor towards the street and while it was slightly better, there was a lot of noise from the street (again bad insulation). For a completely new hotel at 5 stars and that price point (and being an SLH property) I would expect much better.

Amazing

Only breakfast available was carafes of coffee and some some pastries. Made up the room earlier. Their practice is to make up the rooms that were checked out of that morning and move on the rooms that still had guests. If you come back to the room for whatever it may not be ready. Room service staff did a nice job.

Rooms are clean and modern but a bit small. Staff are all very friendly and helpful and the upper open top via Capri Dive bar was excellent! Note that they do not serve breakfast at Dive beginning on Sept 1st. Don’t know when they start back up.
-
The cleanliness needs to be better inside the rooms, there is a lot of duston the floor where there are objects like chairs, the trashcan and the back of the nighstands.
-
Staff was very friendly and would go above and beyond for any requests. Rooms are great. Great location. Can walk everywhere. Will definitely return.

It was an ok stay. Our room was basic. Comfy bed. The rooftop bar was nice. Housekeeping was not to our standard. Bed made and that was it.
