Frequently asked questions
What makes a hotel in Phoenix a good fit for a company retreat?
Look for properties with enough meeting rooms and event space to handle your sessions, breakout groups, and any meals or social time you want on-site. JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa offers 29 meeting rooms and about 241,000 square feet of event space, while Arizona Biltmore, LXR Hotels & Resorts has about 200,000 square feet and The Wigwam has 25 meeting rooms and about 100,000 square feet. Pair that with enough guest rooms for the team and you have a retreat that keeps everyone under one roof.
How do I get my team to Phoenix for an offsite?
Most groups fly into the airport serving Phoenix, which connects to cities across the country. From there, you can arrange ground transportation or rideshares to your hotel. Some properties closer to the airport make it easier to move the group in and out, while others are resort-style and worth the extra drive for the setting and amenities.
How far in advance should I book team offsite hotels in Phoenix?
For a group of any size, start looking at least two to three months out so you have a solid choice of properties and meeting space. If your dates are flexible or you're booking during a quieter season, you may have more options closer in. Larger groups or offsites during busy periods benefit from even earlier planning.
What amenities can my team expect at these hotels?
Most offsite properties offer parking, wifi, on-site dining, and fitness facilities, though the specifics vary. Some have pools, spas, golf, or other activities that work well for downtime between sessions. Check each hotel's profile on Engine to confirm what matters most to your group.
How does Engine help with booking a company retreat?

For guest rooms, you can search, compare, and book your block on Engine; stays of nine rooms or more go through Engine Groups, and eight or fewer are self-serve.
